This was a fantastic instruction video. I have to admit i was hesitant to try products from a new company. But after trying the rinseless wash i am fully on board now. I just ordered a few kits and took advantage of your spring sale for some good discounts. Fantastic products, very good shipping rates , and excellent customer service. What else could you want ?

Congratulations on the excellent new produce! This is a must have in your vehicle at all times along with a microfiber. Perfect for cleaning finger prints off glass or the nav screen. When going on vacation I am the guy who will wash the family truckster while everyone else is sleeping in. Just bring a half dozen microfiber towels for that job. Thank you for the video!

This is going to be an incredible product that every person should have a bottle of in their car, especially for bird bomb & other bad things for the paint, that way you can immediately spray abs remove it before it has time to hurt the clearcoat. Hopefully you’ll sell them in gallons. Can’t wait for this, but ESPECIALLY the ceramic rinseless. That’s going to be a game changer.

Is the waterless just a more concentrated rinseless or is it something totally different in terms of its chemistry?
@TheBreakfastLover
@TheBreakfastLover Жыл бұрын
As per Dr. G from Optimum re: Opti-Clean Waterless Wash vs ONR: "Opti-Clean contains the same polymers in No Rinse that encapsulate dirt but at a much higher concentration than No Rinse QD as well as other polymers not used in No rinse that offer more lubricity and gloss. You do get some level of UV protection from the reflection effects as well as some sacrificial UV protection (the polymers breaking down rather than the paint)." Considering Ivan had a big role at Optimum, I'd wager the same applies to DIY WW vs Rinseless. i.e. Polymers/lubricants that provide UV protection and gloss.
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
In our case it’s very different chemistry. Instead of adapting a Rinseless to be a Waterless, we started from the ground up. While a Rinseless can be made into a waterless, it’s a compromise, we were not willing to accept those compromises.

I'm not a huge fan of Waterless washes but they have their place in the detailing space and they work well with proper techniques. With that being said I was ecstatic with Yvan's towel methodology because I've been using the same process with towel management and interesting enough it tends to be three towels used. This is the same reason I love three to six pack towel packs!

love the demo guys, like always amazing explanation and looks like a great product. Have a couple of questions for you: 1. How does this product differ from DIY Rinseless diluted 64:1? Im sure is different and there are some secrets but what can you say that is an advantage with the waterless vs the rinseless at that concentration? 2. Is this just a pure cleaner or does it contain gloss enhancers? 3. Using the low pile first, wont that cause more marrying risk because the dirt have no place to go as its getting pulled off the surface, different that if you use the plush side first the dirt can go between the fibers?
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
Thanks! 1 a Rinseless at a stronger concentration is OK, but no where near the performance. A dedicated waterless wash gives you better emulsification, lubrication, and safety. A highly concentrated Rinseless can also be streaky. 2 yes it has ceramic and gloss enhancers. 3 the low nap is just as safe, plus it will be a better at cleaning with less passes.

Very exciting! Does the waterless have some attributes in common with the rinseless wash, such as added surfactants (in addition to emulsifiers & polymers), the ability to foam, etc? I assume the major difference is that the waterless is a lot more lubricating, and not dilutable?

Colour is a strange thing. Different dyes react differently in the chemistry. Some will have a negative effect, some are stable. In this formula blue was the best choice.

Waterless washes life up more dirt/ grime, quick detailers are good for drying aids, water spots after a wash etc..you can use them the same as waterless essentially but it's not as safe for heavier dirt/grime

Waterless washes provides a lot more lubrication and emulsification than a quick detailer. I pretty much only use quick detailers as a drying aid for an already clean car.
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
A quick detailer like DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss works well to provide protection, but doesn’t clean. Our Waterless was is first and foremost a cleaner. It also leaves a bit of protection behind.
