I use an ext mixer with subs. XLR cable to the inputs from the sub to the master XLR outputs on the ext mixer. Then run my tops inputs to the outputs on the sub. Easy and sounds great.

Thank you! I always enjoy your videos. I had a question about wiring the sub. I was told that you should run your right and left xlr output into the right and left inputs on the sub. That way you get a fuller sound. Then you would go right and left out of your subs to your tops. I was told if you don't put the stereo sound into the sub it would damage the sub. Is this true?

How would that work with Bose L-1's Model II?
