The main reason for this is because there is so much you can do with the latex that the video would be way too long. That is why I have decided to cut it up into separated video's and give you the techniques one by one. Today we start with " how to use liquid latex with tissue. A fun and easy way to make wounds directly on the skin. Oh thank u for posting this! Im going to be in a zombie show in 2 weeks and i have to do my own makeup. I have everything i need like liquid latex, blood, and everything. Since seeing this, im prerty confident that i can do it.

This is fascinating. I'm only just at the stage where I'm practicing using eyelash adhesive to stick on small flowers or feathers and such for Garden Brows / Fairy Brows, etc. Using the jars of liquid latex, as you are here, might be my next stage. You really help to make it look easy. Thanks for another great video. :)

hey so i’m very new to sfx stuff, when covering the latex layers can you blend it to your skin tone using makeup like foundation and concealer?xx

Sorry for my late reply! Yes you can use foundation or concealer. When you feel they are a bit thick on the latex you could thin them down with a bit of alcohol. This makes covering the latex easier.

it’s around halloween time and i found latex and it had a photo of a makeup/ zombie look on the cover but i ordered it online and haven’t gotten it yet so i can’t read to see if it’s really for your face. it’s in a pretty big bottle which isnt a good sign but like i said it’s halloween time so what do y’all think?

thank you so much for teach all of this! great tutorial 💗 i’m trying to find a way to cover my mouth completely with latex, but also i wanted to have just a little hole to try to drink from a straw, but it would have to be imperceptible, and the surface must be smooth, because i'm not going to do any artistic makeup on top of it to help disguise it, only foundation... do you have any tips? thank you very much 💗

Should Mehron Extra Flesh be used after applying liquid latex on top of the latex? ...or should Extra Flesh be applied before stippling on liquid latex?

Het lijkt me nou dat die potjes a-b-c een mooier resultaat levert. Maar kan je met die potjes ook grotere wonden maken?

De sculpt gel geeft zeker een mooier resultaat. Maar dat is dan ook werk direct een duurder product. Sculpt Gel kun je opbouwen in lagen. Op die manier kun je het zo groot maken als je zelf wil.

I need help!😭 everytime I try to work with toilet paper and latex, the tissue just tears off in bits. Almost like the latex is just ripping it up instead of sticking it down :(

Don't use toilet paper. Try tissues instead and peal the layers apart so you only have i very thin layer. Dab the latex on and it should work 😘. Good luck!

You could but usualy there is a texture in them and you will see this in your work. A tissue (without the edge) works best.
