In this video we take a look at how to wrap your steering wheel in paracord.
This is a great way to make an old steering wheel look a bit nicer and give it more grip.
This is the paracord that I used

This was a really good idea, I don't know why I never thought of it. I've been wracking my brain for ways to recover my steering wheel without using cheap covers, this was a God send.

Same, my steering wheel is super worn out and all of the steering wheel covers I’ve seen say they have chemicals that cause cancer, I’ve been using paracord for years and never thought of this till now, I decided to look it up and found this video.

Another good way I have found of securing 550 cord when you tie knots or to keep ends/knots from fraying or coming apart is dousing them in super glue. I works really well.

The excess Paracord in a sock is genius. Now to get my steering wheel on the passenger side ..

I wish I had use the sock method to keep the paracord from tangling. Took me much longer than an hour just trying to untangle a mess of cord.🧦

Ruben Tan its great for long drives, I found the old leather would just get really sweaty and gross, especially on 40 degree australian summers days
