this video gave me so much helpful information on how to write essay, now i understand that when we write essay we have to avoid repeating sentence, and repeating words or phrases too many times. This is a fantastic video! I taught writing for a number of years (and will be doing so this semester), and I explained this just as you are doing here. This is the best and most amazing video presentation of an essay I have ever seen in my life. Very helpful and step-by-step presentation. I would like to know if you have a video of the ged RLA argumentative essay. On how to evaluate conflicting claims and judge evidence. Because I'm struggling in this field. I passed All subjects. Math,Science and Social studies. But the RLA extended response. I failed 7 or 8 times I believe. Then I stopped taking the test. It's almost 2 & 1/2 years. I wish I can find video like this one. This video was awesome. Thanks God bless you.

Thank you so much for your comment. I don't have a video about the RLA extended response. I found these videos by the company that creates (and scores) the GED. These look really helpful: ged.com/about_test/test_subjects/language_arts/extended_response/ This document is also from the company that creates the GED - these pages are helpful: page 4 (RLA suggested structure), 7 (example prompt), 8 (example essay), and 9 (scoring for that essay). For each body paragraph you labeled a “conclusion” is that the same thing as the reasoning? For example the CER claim evidence and reasoning. Thank you so much for your time

Hello, well, the essay in this video wasn't written to demonstrate the CER format. But I think I still understand what you are trying to ask! The conclusion isn't the same as reasoning. The conclusion comes after reasoning. The conclusion summarizes or paraphrases (or both) what you've explained in the claim, evidence, and reasoning.

It depends on your assignment. This video shows a basic essay. More advanced papers, such as research papers, that will be many pages would use a similar format but have additional requirements (like a cover page, citations, sources page, etc).
