Martinez’s minutes at copa has been great! He’s going to come in to preseason fresh and ready. Just need to avoid injuries for couple more games. He is key to next season. I guess exactly same with Shaw, good training and rehab done with England camp. Key figures in our back line.

@@ashtonzai9495 he snapped his leg in two at the begining of his 2nd season and then Jose took over and didn't pick him much. Since then he's played 47 games twice and 33 games. Yes he's injury prone but that's just the way it is. He's going nowhere because if he's fit, he's probably the best LB in the prem.

Wan Bissaka has 1 year left, you're not going to give him a new deal because he's not good enough to be on the money he's already on. He has to be sold now. He's a great tackler but his concentration is poor, people make runs off of him all the time, he plays people onside all the time because he's not paying attention. He's also pretty awful going forward, he's got better but he's still bad.

He’s way better on the ball than people give him credit.. you’d think he loses it often the way people talk about him.. he’s just not very stylish but he can dribble and get past people pretty well.. and elite one on one defending.. you don’t always have to give someone a massive pay increase and I doubt he’s on crazy good money.. whatever he’s on it will be more expensive to buy another player and he’s part of our English quota.. waste of time not a priority I

AWB is comfortably the worst footballer (from a technical standpoint) I’ve seen play 100+ games for United. Can’t receive passes on his left foot, awful short and medium range passing (slow, inaccurate). Doesn’t have a long ball in his locker. Slow in thought on the ball. Awful execution in final 3rd. Essentially you’re playing with 10 men when in possession. With 1 year left £10m would be a blessing. Play an academy lad. 13:08

@@64Ahmed Maguire was our best centre back last season. He didn't make any of those horrible mistakes. Too many people judged him on the memes. He's nowhere near as bad as the online 'fans' make out. I don't ever recall anyone saying he's amazing or has amazing passing. He's just a good defender.

McKolas rage about luke shaw is EXACTLY what I feel about him as well. I lost all respect for shaw he dodged our season when we literally had no one else just to rush back for england…. That shows his mentality and why he has been a part of some of the largest losses in our clubs history he has weak mentality and no heart he just gives up when its going bad and thats not the type of player we need in our squad or locker room.

Hojlund will be starter in the first game at least considering he’ll be back for preseason earlier but I wouldn’t surprised if halfway through the season Zirkzee is the starting “striker” he fits more of the play style of Rashford and Garncaho

Rodri and rice dont play as lone 6s either tho. The way city play rodri is usually just outside the oppo box. Hes not just sat in front of their defence. And jorginho plays the deepest for arsenal. Rice is given that bit of freedom to dribble forward. And hes not as good at receiving the ball facing his own goal. Could see a situation where we sign ugarte, but in the first transition from playing out from the back, mainoo is the one receiving the ball from the defence. And once we get past the initial press, ugarte drops into screen the back 4 and kobbie moves further up as an 8.

I think there is a place for a genius in the 6, ex// Carrick, Kroos, Pirlo, etc.... But that being said I think Mainoo is an 8 or 10, his ability to progress the ball, create, and even when necessary get in the box and finish, means I agree he'd been wasted at 6

If you have to miss most training sessions at the euros & games....you probably shouldn't be there. He's doing Southgate a favour...but as United fans why tf should we be happy with that? I mean shaw and chilwell are very similar not only in their injuries problems.. but also playerwise. So if we get chilwel for 15-20 Mill im down for it, both of them cant stay fit so we rotate them to depending on whos available and if the worst case appears and both are injuried at once then malacia plays there.

Please remember he played the 1st of 3 poor seasons with a broken bone in his back, a messed up shoulder and a messed up foot. Yet he still played nearly every game. Then rather than train with United or anyone in England in the off-season, he went to Nike. He came back fitter than ever and had his best season. But toward the end of the season, he fell off of it. What he really needed to do was to go back to Nike the next off-season to cement the gains that he had made physically. He didn’t do that and he sucked.
