Despite tech layoffs, tech workers are still in demand. Whether you work as a UX designer, product designer, UX researcher, UX writer, developer, product manager, information architect, software engineer, or many other tech professionals please know that your skills are still needed!
Tech professionals can get hired in other industries. There are SO many companies outside the tech industry that desperately NEED people with tech skills.
If you're only focused on getting hired at a big-name company such as Meta, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, etc then you are REALLY limiting yourself. It's like fishing with a small net.
By looking for a tech or UX job beyond traditional tech companies and the tech industry, you'll see that your skills are in demand and that you might get a higher salary and have a better quality of life 😉
