I loved the return to Q&A format and the range of topics covered. Look forward to more. I get the timeless, classic, and understated elegance of the 222. The connoisseur's choice (befitting of this channel!), and a full yellow gold precious metal watch that isn't blingy. Whilst, I’ve enjoyed trying on several watches from Vacheron in their boutique and particularly love the Historiques 1921 American...honestly I've not personally ever had the privilege to see and feel a 222 in person…so my opinion here is far more limited to footage! ....My main concern is that at retail it feels 15-20k over-priced relative to a full precious metal time-only Patek or AP, and it lacks a more tapered bracelet and more textured dial. I'm a sucker for dials and love natural stone dials. So personally, I'd be more tempted with the AP RO 37mm yellow gold with the natural stone Turquoise dial (albeit far less understated and more of a liability to wear). I also love the Day-Date and have been tempted at various points by the black onyx (yellow gold), the under-appreciated Eisenkiessel (rose), or meteorite (white/platinum). If money was no object (sadly it is) in platinum i (again) love the AP RO perpetual calendar but way out my price range.

Would really appreciate some advise, I was in the market to buy a Daydate Olive or YG Onyx, but a buddy of mine has offered me a Platinum ICE BLUE ROMAN BLUE QUADRANT DIAL (discontinued recently) for 55k USD, which is roughly about the same as an Olive/Onyx price. What would you recommend from an investment standpoint? I think this watch had a fluted bezel I’d definitely pull a trigger but I’m not sure about the smooth bezel on the Platinum… Please help! 🙏

Pajama guy here 🙋🏻‍♂️ I have about 5 sets that I wear, typically in the colder months. J crew is a good place to get into it because they go on sale often, but Petite Plume is my go-to. I felt silly when I first wore one (my wife got a couple good jabs in when she first saw me), but after a night or two that goes away. I get the same feeling wearing my pajama sets as I do every time I put on my favorite suit, if that makes sense lol
