I’m going to say It’s a Small World or Jungle Cruise. Unpopular opinion, but I actually like the WDW version of Its a Small World better than the DL version. Having the water spread the whole way throughout the ride makes it feel even bigger and more fun.

I actually think it should be the WDW Railroad. (Ok, it is Haunted Mansion, but this is a legitimate contender) Walt loved trains and the WDW Railroad is really a tribute to him. It also gives a great tour of the park (when it works, of course) and even has a tribute to Roy Disney, without whom WDW would not have come into being.

God bless the Cast Member that was holding the "End of Line" sign for Rock'n'Roller Coaster the day I went. I feel like for the people that showed up at 4 am on October 1st at the Magic Kingdom was a little bit of a let down that they did not do a speech or bigger performance than just a rope drop celebration. It’s like everything that was celebrating it happened at the media event that only select people can go to. They could have given more to the hoards of people that braved the crowds on the 1st

I remember my first "magical moment"- I was a teen, a bit out of "Disney-loving years" and not as into Disneyland as I would have otherwise been (mostly being there for cool rides), but I was struck by a scene when I passed by one of the saloons in Westernland late at night. The fake cricket noises, the simple banjo-strumming in the dark, and the fact that no one else was around... that moment has stuck with me for 25 years.

Can confirm - MK on the day of the 50th was a MESS at opening (dammit scalpers) but turned into one of the most delightful MK days we've ever had. Low waits for rides, lots of food options (Skipper Canteen) and then EVERYONE came back for the debut of the fireworks show. But overall a really really fun MK day...and we were expecting it to be jammed with people. A magical day for sure :)

It's been about 15 years since my last visit to WDW, and one of my most vivid memories was at the Epcot monorail station near sunset and after dark, how quiet it was and how its a bright beacon in the dark Florida everglades, despite being next to a major amusement park. There us so much confusion about where John Lennon stayed, with May Pang, that fateful day. One of the problems is that all the longhouses were renamed, a long time ago. Some sources has the room as 1601 Samoa (previously Hawaii). Or was it the original, original Samoa longhouse. The longhouse, you are pointing out is now called Hawaii, but it was originally called Tonga, which I do not believe is the correct building? If you Google, this topic, you will probably not get anywhere, since no one seems to have that definitive answer and Disney doesn’t want us to know, to avoid souvenir hunters.

Hey Dallin, just wanted to say thanks. For a while now, I've been feeling a loss of love for the Disney parks, which have meant so much to me throughout my life. Between Chapek, Twitter drama, and all the nonsense, it's easy for the feeling of magic to fade. But around the 23 minute mark, you show us that hill at the Polynesian, where you can just sit and BE at Disney, with the castle visible over the bungalows. I teared up, man haha. For just a second all that magic came back. That feeling of relief from all of life's pressures and stresses, the calm, the peace that is so lacking in my life. It reminded me WHY Disney is so important to me. I don't care about Chapek, or Lightning Lane, or the 50th, or Enchantment.... I just miss BEING at Disney, surrounded by all my happiest memories, where all the stress in my life fades away. The just sit and BE and find that moment of peace, made possible because of what Walt and Roy and the Imagineers created. You reminded me of that, and it is so SO important to me to remember that. Really, emotionally, truly thank you. I needed that moment for so many reasons.

Man didn't even realize Disney scalpers were a thing... but all things considered, everyone wants to make a quick buck it seems. Just to think if Disney crushed out quite a bit more of those plastic buckets from their Chinese sweatshops they totally could put a dent in the scalpers ability to scalp.

Disney needs to make their stuff widely available online. It would diminish the scalpers. And there's nothing they're selling that won't be available for the next year and a half. And considering the cost of going to the park, how can they really make money from what little they get to resell?

enchantment feels like a knockoff of happily ever after to me and it's kinda underwhelming for being the big 50th anniversary show... and it has nothing to do with the 50th anniversary at all :(

I wonder if Dallin was at the park on the day that Tomi Lyn (Sims KZfaqr who’s making a Disney-inspired save file for the Sims 4) was visiting the park for the first time
