Tbh , had Penny not given him a smack and told him that his actions are creepy , he would've done the same thing to Bernie and blown up his chance . Howard really needed that or else he would've ended up in jail .

I would say , when Bernadette realised that Howard married her as a replacement mom , but the hot kind ; and that he is emotionally more open to Raj than herself, she became absolutely bitter and spiteful.

He was a little creepy, but he definitely was a person who had feelings. Sometimes, people forget that nerds as a whole are people too and have feelings.

He's unfortunate finding and picking up women BECAUSE he's creepy and pathetic. It's not that people forget that nerds are people with feelings, it's that it doesn't occur to nerds that others are people with feelings (and preferences, and agency, and dignity worthy of respect). Howard's early season cringey horniness assumed he had a RIGHT to treat women like an animated blow up doll and that it was "mean" of them not to like that. THAT'S why nerds have a hard time forming relationships, not because they're victims of some form of discrimination. Be a decent, considerate human and people will like you.

@@lousialb8962 I hope I don't often the rest of the nerd-bunch when speaking for us all: Please don't lump us together with the neckbeard-faction. Most nerds either lack the social confidence to even do the stuff Howard did - or simply know better. And no, especially the generation of nerds these guys are supposed to represent aren't just lacking decency, they actually got sort of discriminated, by having trouble finding people to connect with and getting ridiculed for their interests.
