The Big Bang Theory Reaction is today's video! Hey everyone! Join me as I continue my journey through The Big Bang Theory today with Part 7 of Season 6!
Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?

The crazy thing is (don´t know if anyone noticed) but Howard is so much more attractive now than he was back in season one! In season one I would not want to be with him alone in one room. But now he is someone you want to be with. Someone you actually feel safe with. Amazing how the series and of course Bernadette made him change into this great guy. And you only wonder when this had happened. 😀

That is actually such a great thing, Howards friends did to him: Telling him different possible versions of the letter but not telling him which one is the truth. I mean that could really help him to get through this. Probably more than anything else. Knowing the truth without knowing it exactly. It is amazing. I love it so much. True friendship here!!!

Hey Cody, just to let you know: I usually don't leave comments, but I want you to know that, you're very strong for being so open & honest with us, sharing your personal experiences and I truly hope that it doesn't affect you that much anymore as it may used to do. You're kind, funny, understanding, cheerful and above all totally terrific :) thank you for being you and keep up the good vibes.

Something I noticed when watching your reactions on TBBT, you are very synced with the characters, say when they laugh, you laugh or you same opinions. But at 11:04 when you and Howard clear the tears at the exact same time, it also touched me knowing that this show, in all of its fun and comedy, really reach people's emotions. Also, there aren't many reactors here on YT that allow themselves to show their true emotions. There are funny moments, there are serious moment and there are sad moments. And this is what makes your content authentic and why I'm here every episode. I hope it makes sense. So, all in all, keep posting and I'm proud of you.

I understand where you’re coming from with this because my parents divorced when I was seven. And because of my mom’s ptsd and view on her family, including my father, I never had much of a relationship with any of them and it wasn’t until after my mom died almost 3 years ago now that I finally started to connect with them, and it hurts so bad because it felt like I lost myself a chance to have a real relationship with any of them. Although I will say that if my mom was still here, I’m pretty sure I would’ve stopped talking to her as well. I know that makes me sound like a bad person, but I just got so much pain from my mom. I found the show so relatable.

Leonard's problem with introducing Penny to Buffy The Vampire Slayer is that he expected immediate love at the start of season 1. Season 1 of Buffy needs to be experienced, but it doesn't really get great until the last episode of season 1 and further seasons. On that note, since you mentioned you haven't watched Buffy, that is definitely one you should do for the channel. Though I personally would say not right away, as there are a lot of great Buffy reactors right now. Once they get through there will be a void, that I'd love to see your reaction to.

I 100% agree ! The first episodes intringued me and I liked them a lot when it first aired. Enough to keep watching. But they are subpar against the final of the season. And the other season ! Concerning Cody doing a reaction to Buffy ! I would love to see that ! Buffy is an amazing show, my favorite one ever. But you are right again, a loooot of reactors are doing Buffy and Angel right now. So, maybe later is better ^^. No matter the time though, if there is a Buffy reaction, I'll be there. Like a looooooooot of Buffy fans !

I think Amy's was the correct one from the way Sheldon jumped at it and the tears in her eyes as she delivered it I think the others apart from Sheldon are what Howard's friends want him to hear and would want to be true... raj - that his dad loved him. penny- that he left so they could have a better life. Leonard - that Howard doesn't make the same mistakes with family. Bernadette - that Howard is a worthy and of value... a gift to the world

The better question in my opinion wouldn't be why Howard's father deserves to explain himself but why wouldn't he do it in person instead of sending a letter. I don't blame him for not caring about what the letter says.

In regard to the letter from Howard's father - I get it, I cut off mine a few years ago and I've blocked him on everything and told my brother to stop telling me anything he says about me or wants to tell me through my brother. Reading something like this wouldn't help anybody. It's either a sweet letter, leaving Howard vulnerable again and wishing his dad would come back (more pain), or it's a bad letter, leaving Howard disappointed and possibly angry (more pain). It really is best just to burn it.

Yeah looking back Howard's probably had the best growth as a character, and even being acknowledged by the the other character, even Howard himself and now we have more moments like these that flesh him out and the audience can even relate to him to an extent and makes him probably my favorite character in the show because of that growth and humanization

@kateorgera5907
@kateorgera5907 Жыл бұрын
The letter episode is one of my favorite episodes of TV, not just Big Bang Theory. Yet, it's so uniquely Big Bang Theory. I can't think of another show that could get away with tackling this issue in this particular way, so combine the ingenuity with the heart and it's one of the best scenes for me. It would be easy to either give Howard the letter or for him to be okay with never knowing, which is where we think the episode is going once he burns the letter. But to give him the Schroedinger's Letter, all variations on the same theme (that Howard's father did care for him, in his own way) without committing to one single version of it, was incredible writing. (And yet, I do always like to wonder who told him the real version, and how did they decide that? I'm between Raj and Bernadette being the true one, because Penny's sounds more like a spy movie plot and those two are the ones closest to Howard. On the other hand, one particular development in a later season makes me wonder if Penny's was the real one...)

Penny not liking Buffy hurt my soul! It's such a great show, and my main comfort show. It's hilarious and emotional and it has episodes that I consider to be masterpieces. The first season is a little rough, but it's really amazing once you get into it. I seriously recommend you give it a try (reactions or not) I think it's worth a watch :) Also Amy trying to help Sheldon deal with closure, it was hard to watch for me, and this might be the neurodivergent side of me talking, but every time things were left/cut short I shared Sheldon's feelings about it. I can't rewatch that episode, it's just too uncomfortable😅

I have a huge family. Like huge. And nobody speaks to each other. I speak approximately to 10 people in total (including children). My parents were getting conned by their siblings again and again and again. What people wouldn't do for money these days... I wish everyone in situations like these kept their head up and enjoyed those people around them, who actually care. Don't let these guys define how you should feel about yourself and your morals. You'll do just fine without them and even better - nothing will drag you down. Fight for those relationships you can save, and those you can't, let go. Just note that sometimes, it really isn't your fault. You've been given little, but you can still do magic with it.

Dude, don't listen to Penny, you neeeeeeed to watch Buffy ASAP! TBBT and Buffy are my two favorite shows of all time, so trust me! If you do plan to give it a try, know that Leonard has made a mistake by introducing the show to Penny by starting from the first episodes, which are nice and campy but the show becomes much better in S2 ep. 3, becomes AMAZING by mid S2, and you're supposed to get absolutely obsessed by the end of that season. Otherwise, if you're just looking for a quick yet efficient introduction there's specific episodes that should do the trick (which is what Leonard should have done in the first place). To clarify: It'd be great if you reacted to the show here but I just need you to watch it FOR YOU. It's that good! Besides, a few Buffy actors make an appearance on TBBT, and that's always a fun surprise. Speaking of which, it always bothered me that when Penny talks about their passions she doesn't consider acting as her passion, it doesn't even cross her mind. She's clearly in it purely for the fame, and that's a sure way to fail... To clarify: I love Penny. Along with Amy and Sheldon, she's my favorite. Just my observation.

I could not say that in earlier seasons to not spoil it but Howard is absolutely my favourite character in this series. The actors skills are unmatched imo

Every once in a while, one of the characters will do something to show they really aren't a good person. Bernadette seeking out what was in the letter to Howard, from HIS estranged father, was a disgusting move that showed zero respect for her husband. I feel you on the family issues. My dad left when I was 7, passed when I was 36, and he was apparently married 7 times in that time span. I invited him to my college graduation, and he didn't show. It sucks, but when you did what you could do, you have to find a way to let it go. I'll let you know how when I figure it out lol.

Fun fact, the Bruce Miller who wrote the finale of _Alphas_ is the creator and showrunner of _The Handmaid's Tale_ TV series.

The girls forcing Sheldon to tell what was written in the letter was very a wrong thing to do. It's Howard's personal stuff and they should've of respected it.

Roots was a miniseries in the seventies about the slave business in America in the 1800's I am not sure, but I think it is based upon reality. It showed the horrific treatment the slaves received. Levar Burton played Kunte Kente the lead character.

Great video lineup this time, like you with the second episode, for me the third episode in this video really spoke to me. Like Sheldon I get really upset over the cancellation of my favourite TV shows, more than most, especially if it ends on a big cliffhanger, it can often make me very emotional and I find it hard to deal with closure, I could relate to how Sheldon felt during this episode, when Amy tried to get him to deal with it, like Sheldon I felt very stressed and uncomfortable the entire time. This is often the episode I use, when explaining how I process things in regards to my disability, while it is not officially established that Sheldon has one, it is often thought that he has a mix of OCD tendencies and A type of autism. While this has never been outright stated in the show and while I do not have the same disability, this is the one episode where I felt like I could relate to Sheldon the most.

My theory is that all the story’s in the letter are true but his best friends told him all as different ones
