As a Man Utd fan I always give that Everton team the credit it deserves, I thought we was going to get hammered in the FA Cup Final but we pulled one out of the bag to deny Everton a treble. I can't wait for this. Watching my heroes talk about our greatest team. The way Colin talks about playing at Goodison wow. I got to walk out as part of our 1st ever disability team, my dad and wife in the crowd. To be applauded by 30k+ fans is an experience that very few are lucky to feel. I'm proud to be an Evertonian and I'm proud that we will finally here the story of Howard's Way. Btw when I had my leg off in 87 Inchy and Gary Stevens came to see me a few days later, I'll never forget that. It was ok'd by the great man himself. Whenever I see either of them now they still remember me and we have a nice catch up. Unfortunately not seen either for a while, last seen Inchy when he was assistant to Howard. I'm now a 40 year old man and to think these fellas still remember a little skinny kid of 7 amazes me. Shows how special our club is.

I remember Brian Clough saying that that Everton team would go on to dominate English football for 10 years and I have no doubt whatsoever it would have if it wasn't for circumstances beyond their own control.

I was a born in 1981 but seen lots of videos of matches of that era and the quality of football was the best ever

I'm a Chelsea fan but I met a bunch of Everton fans at University and went to a bunch of Everton games between 83-95. That team was great and Paul Bracewell was one of the best midfielders ever, and Kevin Sheedy was one of the most skillful players ever

Maybe this film will finally educate the masses.

That 84/85 team was a fantastic team.

This Liverpool supporter knows this Everton side was a great team. One of the best in the world at the time. My beloved grandad was an Evertonian who died in 1969, so I felt an an affinity for that side. Didn't want them to beat us, but if we were not winning I was happy for them to win instead.

Would be great that it wasn't just 84-85 as some good memories from the following two seasons. The guy's right though when 'people' talk about greatest teams they ignore Everton. We've had a few across the generations too don't forget! If Silva can emulate those years..

Since the war only 3 teams have won the league and beat every team at least once in that season,everton1969/70,Everton 1984/85 and Chelsea 2004/05, shankly ,paisley,Ferguson,review,even the invincibles of arsenal didn't do it,Liverpool have never done it,Kendall did it twice,the only man in English football history to do it as a player and manager

I remember going down to Gardeners paper shop in Sandiway about 5 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. I guess it was '83 or so. Marc Early's dad was there with some other men waiting for The Pink and they were discussing Howard Kendall - Everton had just lost that day. Marc's dad said "He's not a first division manager" about Kendall, and there was talk he would get the sack, thankfully it didn't happen and we went on to have the greatest period that I remember as an Everton fan. Not sure why this memory has stuck with me all these years.

Today's Everton players well I have very little respect and don't have the time of day for , but that Everton team was great and what a manager .we ( Liverpool ) won the double in 1986 and prior to the cup final the great Howard Kendall said something along the lines of Liverpool may have the slight edge due to the fact Kenny ( Dalglish) could pick himself in the team both wonderful sides .I can honestly say Howard is probably the only Everton manager that I couldn't help but like

I genuinely believe that that Everton team would've won the European Cup 1 or even twice if a certain team didn't ruin it for all English clubs, I'm only being truthful here but I've been to loads of Utd games without a ticket to jib in so I know that the Hillsborough tragedy could've happened to myself but this destroyed the English Football terrace culture forever. I was at the last game in the Stretford End that was Norman Whitesides testimonial against Everton. We lost our culture & was replaced by bandwagon jumping pricks. Manchester City bought the League by corruption in 2011, Mark Hughes has lost his Utd Cult Legendary status because of allowing his QPR side play their part in the most corrupt premier league match in history, how are title & relegation battle game could be allowed to kick off 16 minutes after every other team kicked off is scandalous, QPR stopped playing when they heard that they were safe & suddenly dropped a 2-1 lead. QPR players that supported City were quoted before the game saying "we wish there was a way for QPR to stay up & for City to win the league ". A sad day for true football integrity.

Everton havent won a trophy in 27 years and look like going down,so talking about the 80s is nostalgic,but they need to look at now,do they want to compete?? Or dont they have ambition
