That melody on guitar is so hard to play that I cannot begin to understand how he plays so many individual notes while singing so beautifully. He's amazing

I think he has a little bit of foundation in classical guitar training. I can play this song and I've got just the tiniest bit of understanding of the correct form for classical guitar. Also the rolling bass line anchors his hand in place for everything else.
