HPD officer Bill Sapolu passes away from line-of-duty injuries

per another source ( and I did confirm it...sad to mention).........he also was lead vocalist in the local singing group, Touch of Gold..... he probably was one of the solo bike officers who was always smiling and giving shakas while "lead escort" in the parades. The Kalaeloa / CIP area can be very hazardous.......thank you for your service, Officer Sapolu.
