This abandoned castle is straight out of a movie. It is by far the biggest place we ever explored. Being built in the 19th century, this place is almost still completely furnished from the interior and is a true multi-million property.
As it's built in the proximity of German's capital, the city of Berlin, the architecture involves many German influences. When we found a secret passage leading to an underground library, we were lost for words. Find out more in this video as we venture our way inside the most huge place we have seen so far.

You are talking rubbish. This place is clearly owned and being looked after. NO DUST anywhere. The furnishings were in pristine condition. There was a microwave there and a modern kitchen. MOST PLANTS IN THE HOUSE ARE STILL ALIVE AND CLEARLY BEING WATERED. God it made me sooo mad. It's like if a family or company does not live in a place for a while can we expect IDIOTS like this to trespass /and break and enter it. They are also so ignorant , lacking in knowledge of history, design or antiques, and their English pronunciation is crap. They should be arrested for trespass.

@@steviealessi5412 Do u know anybody who can afford to leave 2 Mercedes and 2 limousines sitting around? I think this was a bank or govt seizure...So if it was a private home I could, maybe, appreciate ur harping on the privacy issue. It seems to me the owners did something wrong here. Either did not pay bills. Or mistreated patients. The building has walls that are very thick so this may have been an old family place. A grand entrance left also. But the interior looks rebuilt.

The castle was newly build from 1938-1942 for 1.3 mill. Reichsmark. After the 2nd WW it was at first an American division-headquarter. Since July 1945 it lay in the Soviet part of Germany. After the war it was at first home for refugees, then it became an hospital for pulmonary tuberculosis. From 1961 to 1991 is was a nursing-home for mentally retarded. In 1993 it became a home for elderly people. This period ended around 1991 (1997?). Today it's the property of a real-estate businessman from Hamburg. Nothing is known about the future of the caste so far.

That's interesting. Looking at the way the walls and ceilings were decorated, I would have guessed it was constructed during the early 1930's. Whoever built this, if it was built in 1938-1942 (war years), must have had a lot of pull in the Nazi government in order to get the labor and materials.

This castle was actually filmed in the movie: The Monuments Men. I believe the buildings with the red tile roof was added onto the original structure. The original structure as we saw down one of the stairways was much older than the other parts of the house. The hallway with the hospital rooms may have been a rest home or sub acute unit for the wealthy. A place for them to recover from stroke or illness.

The hidden library is not "underground!" It's just down a floor, because of the hill the home is built upon. If it were underground, we wouldn't see the green grass and sunshine outside. Also, "Tempus Fugit" is not a manufacturer of time pieces! It's Latin for "time flies." It is on many modern clocks today, as well as antique and vintage ones.

Even the house plants seem healthy and watered. Very dust free in some areas. "Frozen in time" neglected and abandoned is a bit hard to swallow this time. Nice though. I doubt if the flower arrangements are plastic. At least they don't damage or steal anything like some of the pinheads that get into places. Some of the statements sound a bit dishonest (51:36). Could it be that they intend to replace the wallpaper so it appears "decayed" ? I see new plastic covering some of the "literally unloved" furniture (56:19), probably going to paint the unloved ceilings.

If your getting cobwebs in a week you have a serious spider infestation my friend. Cobwebs are spiderwebs left to collect dust. Also anyone saying they are trespassing must not have noticed them being handed the keys. Saying thru must have broke in is ridiculous. I watch another channel and he literally won't go in if there are recent no trespassing signs or there in no open doors or gates. He has been stooped by family members of the previous owners and then given permission when he tells them what he's doing. Sometimes he will go get permission before entering. Sometimes abandoned doesn't mean there are no owners it just means they can't afford to live in it because of maintenance cost so they let them sit and allow ppl to explore them.

Hi Maureno & Remon, the "mugs" are called "Stein's" and they are used for German beer. The wooden pattern is called Marquetry and the pattern is made out of tiny different pieces of wood. Snoezelenraum means "multi sensory room". At 41:55 the instrument is called an "Organ". The items at 46:15 are either called "Slippers" or "Loafers". You guys do make me giggle with the names for things, the sewing box you found at 48:56 had sewing cotton in not sewing wires 💖. The item at 1:05:03 is called a "Unicycle", the yellow machine with the words "Rubbel dich reich" is translated to English as "Rub yourself rich" which is like the lottery I think. The "Daimler" brand of car was made by the same people as "Jaguar". Absolutely awesome you guys, you did an amazing job with the editing for the start of this spectacular show and the castle itself didn't disappoint, so many stunning pieces of furniture, art & decor. Thank you both so much for sharing it with us and thanks to Urbex Experience for graciously sharing the location with you. Take care guys, much love. xx💖💖

Snoezelen is a multi-functional concept: In a purposely designed room (mostly a white room) the use of light and sound elements, scents and music initiate sensual sensations. These have both relaxing and activating effects on the different perception areas. The specific design directs and arranges the stimuli; it creates interest, brings back memories and guides relationships. Snoezelen induces well being. In a calm atmosphere anxieties are reduced and people feel secure. This type of therapy is sometimes used for people who suffer from dementia or alzheimers. I noticed there were lots of remnants of white backdrops hanging from the wall. Interesting.

Being located "near Berlin", I find it amazing that the building, considering it's size and obvious status and importance survived WWII.without being completely destroyed. I'd be very interested in knowing the history of this castle from the time it was first built, up to the present day and particularly it's immediate pre-war, wartime and immediate postwar history.

It is important to wear masks when around old dust due to dust mites and black mold can be deadly. My sister and I are both allergic to both and when she was exposed to black mold it went into her lungs and almost killed her. As farcasvi am concerned the are times that not wearing a mask can be a form of involuntary suicide. And I prefer to live.

Thank you for taking us with you on part of the hike in. It was so nice to see the beauty of the forest and hear the birds singing in Germany. The castle exterior is awe inspiring. I appreciate you showing us the little patch of wild flowers in the castle lawns. Someone appears to be maintaining the grounds; that is good but yes does present a bit of fear for you explorers. What a grand entrance. How gratifying that the symmetry of the building has not been destroyed by additions. Although the castle is solid and sturdy looking the soft gray color, rounded towers and graceful entryway makes it welcoming and less formidable. Genius! The dining area was so lovely ... thank you for giving us a close up of the place settings. The next room may be called a drawing room. Guests would withdraw to this room after the meal to relax. The marble topped cabinet with carved statues was just amazing; when you opened the door it looked like the grain of the wood was cherry! “Priceless”. In the china closet the little crystal glasses are possibly demitasse glasses and the gold set from Bavaria ? may have been to serve hot chocolate? The room in general was truly beautiful and grand in a very subdued way in keeping with the purpose of the room. Oh the doors to the outside ... how perfect. On a nice evening the guests can relax on a veranda/patio. Wow ... the doors on the wardrobe were made from curly maple! Next the music room ... such sophistication. The secret passage ... what a surprise ... how exciting. They actually had an antique organ! Sorry it was broken but thank you for trying. The pattern of the woven cane was so unique. I have never seen anything like that. It must have been the work of a master craftsman. Funny ... you found purple slippers in the entry way 🤣. I love the mural on the wall in the entryway. That is truly lovely. Aww ... always the gentlemen ... you gave proper credit to “twowaybrothers” and introduced him as your friend. I love the spirit of cooperation in the brotherhood of explorers. Blessings on all of you. That vase is truly magnificent. Do you think after the family stopped living here the man continued to use the first floor to do business? This seems like a hospital for wealthy patients who needed rehabilitation. It is hard to fathom why assets like the cars were not liquidated and used for good?!? Thank you for sharing this explore.

You're talking rubbish. This is NOT a castle but a clearly owned and maintained manor house. They have no knowledge of history or antiques and I had to turn them off rather than watch their crime unfold. How would you like your house entered if you were away for a couple of months. This place had a modern microwave and very clean offices. NO DUST on furniture or textiles. Even the plants were watered. How can you comment them for paying reverence to the items in the home when they should not have been there . IT IS NOT ABANDONED just not currently lived in . Makes me so made when ignorant people do this for a cheap thrill on youtube. They need to be arrested for trespass.

Fact is they present themselves as stumbling across "abandoned properties" which implies they just enter without permission to make a youtube video . Thats not acceptable. I was not having a go at 'you tubers' but these guys in my opinion not being up front.
