The superconqueror nerfs seem pretty okay. I guess they were a little bit harsh on the reload time, but it'll probably be fine. The tier 9 conqueror will be absolutely insane in comparison now, though.

6:00 QB, that's quite literally all tier 9-10s in the game. My PzVII gets wrecked frontally no matter what I do. I'm really curious as to how QB thinks no one pens the lower plate consistently on the PzVII when people shoot mine at insane angles and tear through it.

Changing the mm to plus 1 minus 1 would be the fairest change they could make.

The only meaningful nerf the SConq is here receiving is the HP loss. The DPM loss is meaningless, the issue with the SConq is that it can sit hulldown as long as it wants and farm its opponents, it will just take a few more seconds to do it. Now a T110E5 will have a chance to win a 1v1 against a SConq by going all-in at close range to flank it. Yey, awesome! What they should have done is something similar to the Chieftain, lower the easy ammo pen to 311. This way the SConq might be forced to expose itself more to be able to hit weaker areas.

Proof that wargaming doesn’t know how to balance. They should’ve just nerfed the s.conq’s hatch armor and add some smaller weakspots there are too many heavies that can just sit there and think they’re gods.

curious, i play wot blitz and in blits, the mino's lower plate is just as strong as the turret at ~260mm. the turret is weaker at 240mm, but it is still mostly frontally invulnerable, unless you have a lot of pen. the weakness is low dpm, sus mobility, and weak sides. a lot of less-skilled players use the mino in blitz because it's great for winning but not for high performance.

I mean the Foch 50 B becomes that monster again it was back in like 2015. I remember the Foch 155 was a hell of a monster back then. Since the game has the Foch 155 and the Foch 50 B and now with the Foch 50 B being buffed doesn't make that the Foch 155 kinda obsolete? I think we'll see how this is gonna turn out

I wish (and hope this is that) that they gave nation-based specialties or specifics. Germany was always known for their over-engineering, but accurate and 'effective' weapons. This could translate into high HP, big bulky armor and precise and powerful guns with good handling, however their modules could be weak(er) and their tanks are heavy and thus comparably more sluggish. The Pz VII increase in what the gun will pump out (and from what distance) could go a long way to make such a thing. On a personal note, accuracy inthis can't be improved enough to offset the ATTROCIOUS RNG and ballistics in this game.

I feel like the Foch B would of done great with 1 of the 2 buff characteristics. Either make it able to escape after dumping better. Or make it able to get the oppertunity to dump more often. Doing both seems a bit silly. But i do feel it needed at least 1 of the buffs, sure high skill unicums will do well, but *most* Foch B's i see Unload 1 mag then die.

What are we talking about? The most broken tank in the history of this game is EBR tier X and those lowlifes (WG) does not even think to put it to the ground. So many times i hit ebr with huge calliber gun HE shell and it's armor just absorb it. I've seen many battles where it was imposlible to hit it and when you do - no damage done. Speed and profile of that "tank" is out of this world. I salute nerfing minotauro but S.Conq should not be nerfed!

What about making volumetric shells like warthunder, to remove the pixel gaps being issues…

The Pz 7 really needs those pen buffs (and the fix to the mantlet), currently it has only a few mm more standard and gold pen than the 128mm on the E100, while having drastically lower DPM. Not worth the extra 30 alpha damage. I don't think the Pz 7 will become meta, but it will become more playable, and closer to average. Currently it's one of the worst tier 10 heavies, and its global statistics are "carried" by the fact that unlike the E100 and Maus, it's not likely to be anyone's first tier 10.

Buffing...Nerfing...Rebalancing everything except RNG SMH

Super conqueror nerfs are so stupid, my main problem with it was that I have to spam HEAT at its cupola to pen and not bounce my shots, that’s the only thing that was unbalanced about it. Players shouldn’t have to spam gold to pen a weak spot, and even then it’s not even guaranteed. Firepower is good but it’s balanced since it does have a horrible hull. These changes to it are absolutely stupid and shows how out of touch wargaming is with the playerbase

The only buff the foch needed was a pen buff to match the strv pen.

I can't get myself to play random battles anymore. It just feels like endless frustration. WG shouldn't be messing with the tanks gun. If I aim for 3 seconds and reload for 15 seconds the shot should hit the target when fully aimed because if it misses that makes the dpm half. I'd rather have every tank accurate when fully aimed than a select few accurate randomly. Buff every tanks accuracy. FRUSTRATION MAKES PLAYERS WANT TO LEAVE.

I play so badly in the s.conqueror already, really need to watch more on how to play it well

QB it's very important to note that player win rate difference is not a stat that tells the whole story. Panzer 7 is very forgiving so bad players do alright with it which means the average stats won't be too bad either. Good tanks that are difficult to play like AMX 50B have absolutely dreadful player win rate difference but a high 3 mark requirement because bad players suck in them and good players can dominate but there are a lot more bad players than good players. Essentially player winrate difference can be used to measure the skill floor and 3 mark requirements can be used to measure the skill ceiling.

thx qb for informing us all bout whats comin. imo, there are 2 types of balancing: one is trying to create Fairplay and even odds, so there is a minimum of meta-mechanics/plays/tanks.. everyone can have fun and everyone is samewise happy.. and then there is the second one and its for companies: make ur game dynamic so noone gets bored. create diffrences so emotions can rise and fall above the old and the new... simple psychology: static = boring / dynamic = vital

I think that the pz 7 buffs are very good because it wont be broken but become a nice tank to play with the buffed accuracy. I agree with you on the minotauro and superconq but the foch b should be be buffed but then lower the premium pen so that its not just a tank where you only load gold and just pen everything.

Lesta games doing way better job of rebalancing tanks than Wargaming They buffed M48Patton, BatChat, Concept5, MVY, Type71 is different better etc. They nerfed crazy tanks like ChitoSP etc. They are doing what is required They even buffed some collection tanks and it made them playable not op PS: However I don’t like how they effed up the HoRi line made them sniper type TD

This is going to be a bit of a rant, so bear with me. The following T10 tanks need buffs(not considering these changes): Foch B, Foch 155, Type 5 Heavy, 113, T-62A, Pz.Kpfw VII. (there are others, but I cant's think of them off the top of my head) To balance: Type 5 Heavy: This one is easy, just 10mm of extra armor everywhere except for hatches, this would give the type 5 a chance to bounce gold rounds, while maintaining the weakpoints so that f2p players can still fight it. In its current state people just spam gold straight through everything, no matter how little you peek they can pen you with gold. So I think this would be a good change. Pz.Kpfw VII: In its current state this tank is unusable, if you sidescraspe, people pen your 'armpit', if you go hull down, people pen your mantle and cheeks, if you go straight on people pen your lower plate, there is no position in which this tank has any decent protection. To fix this, I think we would need to make the flank weakpoint (the 'armpit') smaller, and thus harder to hit. Remove the mantle weakpoint entirely but leave the cheeks as they are. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the engine deck is easily overmatchable and easily hit able from any high angle, to fix this, is easy, increase its thickness from 40mm to 55mm. 113: another easy one, increase roof thickness from 40mm to 55mm, increase gun depression from 7 to 8 degrees. T-62A: increase hp by 50, increase gun depression from 5 to 6 degrees, increse speed from 50 to 52-55 kmh. Foch 155 and Foch B: honestly the propised changes are good, except, it should only get +2 kmh reverse speed and .5m after firing. This is just my opinion, if anyone has any other ideas on how to balance these tanks, or think other tanks need balanced, I would love to hear them.

It looks like the buffs and nerfs for the Minotauro are driving it to get in closer and brawl with the higher turn rate and engine power, rather than being a static boulder on top of a ridge.

The original foch was one of my first two Tier 10's, and it was nerfed about a week after I got it. I have barely played it since, and I wont be playing it at all until they solve the standard pen on it. It doesnt need the other buffs, it just needs decent pen.

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but if they're making changes to the Foch B can they make similar changes to the Foch 155?

Foch b is my favourite tier x, it seems like they're just taking the equipment I have mounted and making it standard for a stock foch b.... I think Foch 155 deserved these buffs a lot more. Also I use foch b without any gold

I remember the old world of tanks before they nerfed every tanks accuracy because the IS-7 couldn't bounce a shot. Back then when i fully aimed my shot I couldn't miss in my e 100. Every shot felt satisfying made me want to play the game again the next day. Now it's just endless frustration. The thing that made the game addictive, the feeling of SATISFACTION is gone.

When I see planned changes on AMX 50 Foch B and SuperConq, I always have to ask myself, why WG doesn't improve AMX Foch155 and FV215? These two old tanks are not even close to the level of AMX 50 Foch B and SuperConq and WG seems to just to forget them forever... 🤨

I have the 60tp, i think E5 can destroy 60tp easy, i mean E5 has a reload of a medium tank and more driving speed, 60TP reload is to slow for E5 but 60tp have the damage to make up for the long reload.

Well. In this case the super conqu would be slightly worst than type 71. Because the worst DPM and doesn't have any new mechanic to keep up In the end the type 71 will kick super conqu for the king of hulldown (tech tree side)

Weird timing. I just sent a suggestion to WG that they should sell the BZ-176 and EBR because these two tanks are so OP. If they sell them then newer players have a chance to get those tanks to balance out the game. WG told me to post un discord which i did. THEN these buffs and nerfs come out. They are nerfing the SC and Mino, which are the good competitors for the BZ-176!

The Foch could use all these gunhandling buffs. Speed, not so much. The Sconq has another AMX m4 situation where people pretend it does not need nerfs. Right now it is the best tank for hulldown positions while having the versatility to also streetbrawl. It lacks the mobility the Chieftain once had. But this was certainly second pick after it. You just cannot give tanks that are nearly invurnerable in certain positions also have the best dpm. I'm happy they didnt nerf the turret. It's what makes the tank. But i'm glad they toned down the dpm so it makes hulldown tanks that have weakspots not feel pointless to fight against it. Speaking about Onslaught. The Sconq has always been highly relevant. Even during the AMX meta. Only recently it has been outpicked by the 60TP due to the Onslaught gunhandling stats (And stupidly high hp which needs looking at). But again. In hulldown maps it remains second pick but when you play 7v7 and you get for example Westfield or Redshire. You will guaranteed meet atleast 3-4 sConqs.

tier 9 of mino line, while ok, is the least problematic of them all. It has proper weak lower plate unlike the others, it has two turret weakspots that are always visible (but i guess qb dont play the game enough to know about them) and penable unlike the others. Honestly as long as tortoise is on tier 9, no other triangle comes even close maybe with exception of WZ

I feel like S. conq nerfs should just be turret armour, maybe give it the same mantlet as the Conq. WG has such a habit of nerfing heavily armoured tanks by nerfing gun handling, when the real problem is the armour

The changes to SConq, Mino, and Pz.7 make sense. Foch B didn't really need the changes, it looks like a yolo wagon and overbuffed. If the Foch B stays with those buffs then why keep the WT E100 out of the game?
