No. She avoids a phone call because she wants to leave DMS and try to spend a story. If she wanted to solve the problem, she should have and could have reached out to Jimmy privately. But the first thing she did after stewing on it for years is to create internet drama and create an angry mob. That's not the actions of someone who wants to solve a problem or let their grievances be heard, that's someone who is spiteful and wants to cause hurt because she feels hurt.

I noticed a huge problem with that argument in this situation the same exact thing also happened to a male youtuber in the exact same video who placed higher than her its not likely a sexism thing and more just trying to brandish the bigger people to reach a broader audience if it did happen

One thing that throws the whole "sexism" thing out the window is that another *guy got taken out of the running. Quackity. She even mentions him. At worst MrBeast fakes videos. That shouldve been the one big issue and wouldve also touched upon the unfair treatment. Also it was looking much like a business move. I dunno about the other winners, but letting Logan Paul of all people place, like him or hopefully hate him he's very marketable.

I don't follow either of them (I've watched Rossana's and MrBeast's videos in the past, but not many), but I've always known Rossana as a not very problematic creator that's very easy to work with. She has been in TV shows and stuff with other creators, so I think it's hard to believe she would have said anything if he had let her know beforehand.

Yeah but at the end of the day Jimmy is losing at LEAST a million dollars making the video, so to offset some of that he would feel the need to make the video as exciting and captivating as possible. Im assuming he edited the bigger creators into those spots to reach a wider audience and max out the watch time as much as he can. It is still odd that he didn't just let everyone know from the get go that it would be edited, but it was probably just a lot easier to get raw footage that way without having to get everyone on bored to basically lie to their audiences. If she approached the situation differently I think there would be way more backlash towards Jimmy, but her attitude towards the whole thing is kind of just overshadowing everything else and making her look kinda dumb ngl.

Well, it is objectively being blown out of proportion because she is claiming sexism while claiming a guy was treated the same way or worse. If she isn't lying then she is still lying about that.

Everybody saying none of this matters, don't seem to acknowledge that the participating channels are their own brands too. When you lie or obfuscate details like that as a MUCH LARGER brand after securing filming rights, it gives you disproportionate power. Keeping larger charitable organizations and channels honest is critical. Her 'hide and go seek game' that didn't matter, is figuratively speaking, a larger accomplishment than most of the terminally online people clowning on her will ever achieve in the personal or public sphere. It's just more of the odd psychological association that since Mr.Beast is more successful than her in business, than he's a better person because he wins. Telling him that with para-socialistic blind support doesn't encourage him to stay authentic either. We receive the entertainment, employment and governance we incentivize over time given the choice. He has the most incentive to keep everything behind the scenes honest and legal BECAUSE it involves charity UNTIL the viewership makes it clear he doesn't. Lying to people to get them to perform to a higher level than what you intend to compensate them for whether in monetary value, recognition, etc is common in the workplace, but also largely responsible for burnout and workplace inequality. If the incentive of collaborating together for charity was competition based exposure, it needs to be competition based. You can be successful without lying to people or over playing your hand when you have control, its just much quicker and easier if you do.

Even saying for example, that her being edited out gives her channel and brand less exposure would have been fair. What she did say however, is that she felt sooo proud of this grand achievement of placing 3rd in hide and seek, that being edited made her feel so bad and affected her self-esteem, and to top it all off, made the accusation that it was because she was a woman. Saying that is obviously ridiculous since nothing about where you place for a hide and seek game, that no one takes seriously, for charity, filmed for a KZfaq video, should be seen as a considerable or noteworthy accomplishment. If anything does, it should only be the charity part. So in that context, and with that argument, then yea, this definitely doesn't matter.

Disagree, she is in the total wrong for not going about this in a correct manner. I would understand if she went about it privately before or if maybe she is inexperienced dealing with this type of thing but no. She is a 38 year old woman who has done KZfaq for quite a while, along with having the option to contact MrBeast privately as many mature people would do. Not that she should receive death threats, but definitely is a whole better peaceful way to address an issue you had with someone without making an entire fuss about it. I'm not trying to invalidate how she felt about it but she made the first action to make it public and damage MrBeast credibility on social media. That itself is malicious/wrong, and should not be excused. It is not okay to do that to a person because that has consequences which she would know full well since she herself has a similar position. Lastly, about her issue of the editting, that itself should have been corrected/addressed.I agree with what you said about it most likely being a thing to keep viewers engaged with the video. It could also be just that they didn't pay attention to what the correct placement of winners. I'm of the opinion of that it was just a funny moment or entertaining part of the video. I don't think whoever was in charge of editting the video did that to do any damage or harm to Rosanna. However, most of the blame is still on Rosanna due to her not taking appropriate means to sort out the issue.(Along with it's also been over a year, plenty of time to resolve it.) TLDR: I disagreed and argued Rosanna should have contacted MrBeast privately than just creating that entire public drama.

I believe that the reason why she put out that initial statement with the pink background was because she was getting bombarded with questions and doubts just about that Mr Beast story. In the podcast with Trisha (where she first mentioned this incident), she was sharing many other past experiences that were equally worthy of acknowledging, if not more. I believe that if her allegations were against a larger creator who already has a large negative image, then the public would have been on her side. I understand that her language sounds very SA victim-like but having heard many victim statements (both real and fake) hers sound very authentic - like it came from a lot of pent up emotions from all her worst experiences. It's just that such language felt out of place in this situation, for many. She probably got overwhelmed with how much this blew out of proportion and the number of d*ath/r*pe threats she got from Jimmy's die-hard fans.

The problem with your analogy is that its actually like you told a child they would get something and then lied to them about it, and even went behind their back to edit what you agreed to. She's not mad someone got there first she's mad that her achievement and the other person was even bothered to be edited out on the first place. Yes her being third place changes nothing but editing her AND another person out because you preferred ANOTHER creator is the problem when your whole rep is about being a fair and honest person puts a sour taste in people's mouths.
