It looks overpriced but when you compare to the other options (there aren't many) this looks good. I know many people will immediately compare it to another one they found in thier local store which was 20$. This has more than 20 times the storage of that one while it's also small. It's only for laptop users from what I imagine.

The timer is literally like an odometer. it doesnt allow you to set it for 10 minutes to turn off. its ALWAYS running. if you plug a phone in, and leave it, it will hit 100% and continue to drain the charger.

I would like to see a version of this product with a greater Watt Hour capacity (Around 175 Wh), and the 12 Volt DC output must be able to handle a higher Amperage current rating from it's existing 5 Amps max output up to at least 12 Amps. Why ? Simple. Once you step up to the more utilitarian DC Voltages, such as 12, 18, and 24 Volts DC, the devices which consume these higher voltages also often draw considerably higher amounts of current - Usually between 10 to 15 Amps @ 12 Volts DC, and up to 8 Amps @ 24 Volts DC. Also, it would be nice to see a built in MPPT Solar Charge controller to be able to connect a 100 Watt solar panel, and a micro pure sine wave AC 115 Volt 200 watt inverter and socket added. I don't know how much more size this would add to this device, but the possibility of having such a powerful device in such a simple hand held footprint would be of considerable utility. The excellent Goal Zero Sherpa 100 AC portable power bank comes pretty darn close with its 4th Generation version of the product, but it also has a larger, rectangular footprint, which makes it slightly less of a hand friendly device to pack or carry around. I think there is a big trade off between increased capacity and the footprint and time it will take to recharge the device from near 0 % - Especially if you are recharging from a small, portable solar panel. I noticed the nifty fold out solar panel kit you can add onto the Storm 2 Power Bank. I really think this is a strong concept, but poorly executed by the manufacturer. I would like to see at least a 20 Watt set of less than 12 fold out Monocrystalline panels, and an added option for 12 to 18 Volt DC charge output plug to go into the 12 Volt DC input of the device @ 5 Amps of current intensity. This is a very strong and good power bank, but it could be a great power bank with these added features. *Most importantly, I would like to see the option to parallel connect two Storm 2 Power Banks for twice the capacity !*

It's not better, though. Only 1 USB C port at 60w, and it presumably also charges at only 60w, and 2 USB A ports at 18w combined. That vs 1 USB C at 100w, another at 30w, and a USB A at 18w on the Shargeek. It also has a DC in/out which didn't get mentioned at all and can be used to charge the power bank or power non-usb devices. Oh, and the Shargeek charges at 100w through USB C. Ignoring the looks, the only advantage the Anker has is that it includes a 60w USB C charger, but if you need a 60W USB C port, you likely have a 60w USB C charger lying around anyways.

@@MrFastFox666 I don't know where you got your info from. It's clearly stated on their port charge info and product page that max single port is 140w charging. Three ports is 61 per USB-C and 18w USB-A. Only thing about Anker which is less than Shargeek Storm is that it has 1600mah less.

I don't understand why some people would want a wireless charging when it can only go up to 10 watt or 15 watt max. My phone requires 20 watt to charge...so unless they can make a wireless qi that can do 20 watt wireless then it would be ideal. Other than that I stay away from all wireless qi charge less than 15 watt outout.output. for that kind of money, seems like they miss a few important features such a rubber feet and a scratch proof clear case t

It's nice, but is it worth the investment for the long run....not really! I like the concept design, but there is just too many red flag about the longevity and durability of it all. The clear case itself flex, and has no protection against scratch, ding, and accidental drop. People in general are clumsy so yeah durability takes second priority.

Looks nice but it overheats and it not efficient enough storing and transferring the energy it captures from the mainframe (the plug). Also, power banks do not work in a vacuum and charging speeds depend on the devices connected (mobile brand, etc) and the usb type cables used to charge those devices. Again great design but poor execution and expensive.

Let me sit down and strap myself in. Now, of what possible consequence can it be to observe the voltage whilst this is charging something? Whose idea of fun is to watch electronic devices being recharged? What you call useful information, I call a shiny distraction [like one of those mobiles hang above babies cribs]. It's a big, fat, battery - like all the others. Looks more interesting than the shiny box alternatives, but it's not different to them. And there's the rub, it's not smaller or lighter than other p/banks of similar capacity. Given the oft presented bonus, of being able to charge multiple things at once, is just fluff- who actually finds on a regular basis that they need to recharge four items at exactly the same time? I don't believe anyone who answers yes to that question. What's left is how is it actually better than it's shiny box cousins?
@JellyDrive

(To me) It is super useful because it has a DC in/output which is very helpful for someone who has solar panels with dc outputs. And yes there are DC input/output battery banks but not many with high power usb type c for newer laptops, and there are power banks with high power usb c ports but not dc inputs So that's my use case, is it niche? Oh hell yes, but it does have a use that does set it apart from the competition

I love being able to run my Laptop for race data and also charge my LiPo battery while I am in he Pits at the go-kart Track, simultaneously. This uses 2 usb-c connections and will honestly last me an entire night of laptop and phone and LiPo cycles. Voltages are excellent to know for testing purposes, and to monitor that my LiPo set up is not going to burst into flames from low voltage. The DC port has a HUGE number of flexible options seeing as its purely a +/- output, meaning i can use it to charge any and all devices I need to, or simply run some LED Lights in the Tent. With just a few simple adapters I have a wide range of usability. It is both stylish and practical. Your critical review of this product leads me to wonder why you have such a hard time coexisting with this product. If you don't want one, then don't buy one. My only personal gripes I have with the device, is that it does not output the same wattage from both usb-c ports, it DOES NOT actually do pass through charging, and it will not stop charging a device when it is at 100%.

@@kyrougue Clearly I lead a simple life. I actually have no gripe with this product itself, I'm just rather nonplussed by the adulation it has caused. My little Zendure is a kept in the shadows backup. Everyone I know who has a powerbank, including several of those multi sectioned solar numbers, pays scant attention to them in use. When recharging the one item I find [on the go] needs recharging, my attention is only to observe: red light on, wait for it, green light on, go for it. I then move on with my life. Some of the reviews I've seen treat this PB's readouts as special features, yet never seem to explain why. I snapped - sorry

Dont buy from this company. My screen crapped out after a month of light use, so now i have no idea what capacity i have left, and parasitic drain was high. I have attempted to contact shark geek multiple times. They replied initially with instructions to perform a reset, which i did, and screen still buggered. Since that reply and my response advising reset did not fix, many follow ups by me have gone unanswered. I have not been able to instigate any warranty return / exchange / refund, as they simply will not answer. Considering priced as a very premium product in the space - the fact that a) mine broke so early and b) if you do have problem, you have ZERO warranty as they just will not answer if you have problem - do not buy. Their support department is obviously non existent, it is all about sales, sales, sales of what is likely cheap electronics behind flashy marketing and pricing to make you believe it is a PREMIUM product. Will now have to try get consumer affairs onto the case, as well as letting everyone know on as many platforms as i can what they are really like as a company.
