I'd say the biggest reason they added region lock is to keep tournaments as competitive as possible. People are more likely to grief and not give a shit if they aren't playing on their own region. A lot of people get caught up looking at these pros placing across regions but fail to realize how many people play opposing regions and just grief.

Maybe also so one player can't win money from multiple regions' price pools. I don't see why that would be a problem though

The wording on the rule makes much more sense now when you think about it. The subsequent sessions are different rounds of one event, say the finals of a Solo victory cup. Now they added that it's for all other sessions of the same event, which is exactly how it's been. So basically before it didn't say that you're region locked for all Solo victory cups if you play it.

To be honest they just need to bring back launch pads but as a trap like in the old days and bounce pads. Also I would love to see those items back either one is good because if I’m not mistaken we haven’t had an trap item since chapter 2 and I talking not bringing an item back for couple weeks or for a mini event but Yh those two should be there and they will take care of this every season different mobility item just keep it simple and focus on other things

Region lock was added to protect weaker regions. Like for example, between EU and Middle East there is just a 20-30 ping difference. Region lock blocks EU PROs from dominating the Middle East tournaments.

Damage to players isn’t bad. It’s the damage to builds , and the fact that you also take fall damage if you for instance get knocked off of loot island , ect.

I think the battle ram Is balanced because whenever you use it you get railed out of the sky so I think it's a good new addition

i think they should just make items act differently between comp and casual playlists, I think that would fix the constant battle between the playerbase

I think comp players should stop being babies and deal with it. Think of a counter play instead of nerfing all the fun out of the game. Be ready to shoot people out of the sky, or reposition yourself with your own rocket ram, or come up with a dif way to box up, come up with some damn thing instead of defaulting to complaining about everything.

The biggest thing that I dislike about the new crash pad vs the old ones is that you can’t throw additional pads on the original to create a bouncy path for you. I didn’t even really carry the old ones but whenever I found them I would throw 3 down to give me a little mobility but you can’t even do that now

In scrims i've really enjoyed rocket rams and I think its pretty balanced with the fact you have to position yourself to not get landed on

Is the mythic Charge in comp? It got a ton of flack in C2S3 because it came with the Shockwave Launcher, but it honestly wasn't too overpowered, so I really hope it's in comp

epic just needs to make it so that the rocket ram cant go through infinite builds, it makes scrims so unfun imo, height is impossible to hold because someone can literally just decide to launch u 50 ft in the air and theres literally nothing u can do. if it stopped after going through like 1 or 2 builds it wouldnt be so annoying. i dont even pick one up because with the twinmag and people moving slo mo in the air, the game just becomes a point and click adventure game

Its crazy how if ur beamed to 1hp there is literally no counter to the rocket ram just instantly killing you no matter how much you tarp away it always kills you, you literally cant avoid it, just wait until cashies start you'll see everyone complaining

The knock back is cancerous too. If someone is below you and they rocket ram up you’re going up 50 meters and falling to your death, nothing you can do about it.

Not a fan of region hopping. Mostly because I don't like dealing with excessive laggy players. It's just not fun to play against, even if I have more advantages. Remember, they can still see & shoot you from where you were in the past, meaning you could be safely boxed up & still die because your box hasn't rendered on their screen. Prizes are also allocated for the region's playerbase, it'd suck to miss out on winning a free skin in a skin cup because top tier pros from other regions decide to play it even if they already have already won the skin.

In my experience even if they shoot you it won't damage you. It would really be the case where they would get shot through their builds. You can watch clips of Clix in FNCS qualifiers that show him blanking players and no damage being done to them at all. So really, your point isn't accurate.
