Hiya mate, not too sure of the name of the busy roundabout, but as you walk up the dual carriageway from Temple fire station, you get to a bit that it is an overpass roundabout above the dual carriageway! Sorry if it doesn’t help 🤣

Ridiculously selfish and unnecessary turnout tones system. Wouldn’t want to live near Temple station, that’s for sure.

It’s not unnecessary: Temple has a very high pedestrian footfall during they day usually and there is a lot of building work going on in the surrounding streets currently. The alarms let’s the building crews know to clear the roads, which are currently often blocked by lorries delivering supplies and skip lorries picking things up etc.

It is most important that the traffic outside the station is stopped with plenty of time. The only people who should not be in a rush to get ready are those who will save lives by their equipment and preparation. The sounders remain on as long as they are needed.

I have to agree, absolutely ridiculous length of time for them to be sounding. For a busy station like Temple, it’s basically noise pollution.

Yeah, that is too much. Even for watching with headphones. Annoying as hell ! There are better solutions like a flashing Signal or a traffic stop Light.
