I remember passing by Hulk Hogan and his family in the backlot of Magic Kingdom when I worked there in the mid 90s. When Thunder in Paradise got picked up for a full season, they moved filming to Disney and filmed around the Grand Floridian.

Who wears short shorts? Hulk wears short shorts! "I'm he's really starting to regret wearing those shorts"? No. You don't wear those shorts if you have regrets. I'm not an expert on the Florida Gulf coast, but I do know that the terrain is extremely flat and swampy. Also, as not an expert, I know that the highest point in southern Florida is 86 feet above sea level, and the tallest gulf coast island is 70 feet. Any cave which is below sea level will be water and probably mud, not rock. I don't know how there would be a rock cave in this terrain, but if there was it would be in one of the few tall hills. If one the highest points on one of the largest island near St. Pete had giant X made out of rocks visible from the air, and it had been there since the times where pirates carved puzzles on cubes, someone would have noticed this treasure even without a map. What I'm saying is (and I know this is crazy), I believe Thunder in Paradise has a plot hole. When holding Carol Alt's legs, it appears Chris Lemon has never held anything in his life. I don't know why people bother the part of CPR where it initially doesn't work. Just skip straight to "don't you die on me!". Glowsticks are great for snorkels when cigars or solid metal rods are unavailable. Hulk was convinced there was a forest on that boat. I think that's the best bump Jorge Gonzalez ever took.

Seriously? I love the show. In part for the nostalgia, but partly cause it's sort of wholesome goofy fun, sort of in line with the vibe of something like Tremors 1-3. And other shows, like the Brady Bunch Hawaii Special, or the Saved by the Bell specials. It's miles better than at least 95% of what Hollywood puts out these days.

Damn … though Hulk um Terry “Hulk” Hogan has been kinda faking a lot of things if not everything … also is that the English actor who played Steed in The Avengers the classic UK TV show? I recall watching this many years ago either too late or too early in the day (both not good signs) but don’t recall that casting … essentially it was a sorta knockoff of magnum pi? With a twist of Airworlf, nothing much ever happened … and nobody explained why this boat existed let alone why “he” had it. Mail/Surp. It’s still holds up … kinda … just enough. Though the inner spatial dimensions vs the outside look dodgier than “terrys” moustache.
