Synopsis:
Vikram (Sunil Dutt) is a proud and wealthy man and adores his motherless daughter Chandni (Farah). Widowed early, he brought up his daughter Chandni (Farah) and son Sanjay (Farooq Shaikh) sacrificing his own personal happiness, choosing a secret relationship over marriage, with Maya (Rekha).
When Vijay (Rohan Kapoor) comes into Chandni’s life and steals her heart - they realize the course of true love never runs smooth and her father’s disapproval and her impending arranged marriage threatens the Love between Chandni and Vijay.

Zindigi wahi ruk gayi..I reached to the same college and and fell in love with the same girl which I saw in my dreams when I was in class 8th but the dream was broken instantly when I was woken up for school! that moment shattered my dream just like bubble and after her departure from college, I was never at peace, I knew I cannot never get her (even though I now realise that it was not a big deal as I was an extremely shy boy then!), Aaj ye gaana suna tu 'saase ruk si Gaye hai'. Same college, same fountain, same girl, same ❤, same 💔. Iss baat ko 30 saal ho chuke hai..but feels like just yday. I don't know how this happened but this is the reality..na Mai tumse kuch keh saka aur na bata paaya, mujhe tumhare ehsaas se Siva kuch pata bhi nahi tumhare baaremai..Mai apni palke bhi nahi jhapak sakta ki tum kahi ojhal na ho jaaooo
