He was not happy to see the owner after he the parents because he had already greeted the owner prior and had even been walked around with him a little , I would’ve recommended having everyone go inside the house even the owner . And then having the owner in the red shirt come out alone and present himself to kylo all over again . He was happy to see the family so quickly because they hadn’t said hello to him yet . Same thing happens when you walk outside your house to check the mailbox and walk back in the house 2 minutes later. All of a sudden the dog is very happy to see you again even though he just saw you 2 minutes ago . Imagine if you walked in the living room of your house and walked back in the kitchen where you dog was , he wouldn’t necessarily be excited to see you again which was why I recommended having everyone go inside and the owner come out alone . Does this make sense hopefully it does bud . Your a great trainer by the way love the videos !!

Thanks and yes I thought of that as well but I wanted to apply chaos theory and it worked. He’s been awesome thus far. I do often employ your methods but the shock of seeing him go after his dad confirmed suspicions of mine about the dog. Ultimately the issue isn’t Dad, it’s Kylo. Like in the movies lol. Thanks for your input happy new year!

Yes that’s why and for more reasons. Well, Kylo seems to be holding to the faith and he was the hottest red zone dog. I have videos a presa pup, an averse gsd pup names Sabine. Check those out. I just picked my dog up after 3mo, he was 11mo. Olde English Bulldog. He acted just like this dog and same reactions when I showed up. Like he didn’t remember me. When we walked around for a half hour or so, he let me take the lead. We took another day to get home. He did t growl, he respected me. But it wasn’t until we got back home, that I feel everything clicked and he finally remembered me and my son, once he spent time sniffing his old bed and toys and yard, then I seen it in his eyes, there’s my dog.

The dog is intimidated by him. I don't see this point im about to make often; PLAYING with your dog is suuuuuper important. Rough house, wrestle play with toys etc etc cuddle with him... 75% playing and cuddling, 25% training and 100% loving. I tell people this all the time. You must do this from day one. Treat him like he's your best friend and he will be your best friend. He can respect you and still love you. Good dog good dog good dog even for the smallest things. He needs to hear and feel good dog more than ANYTHING.

Def agree. My 11 week old pup is super loving. We socialized him with the whole family and he sits with everyone in the living room throughout the day when he's not napping in his crate. We make sure to address the food aggression right away by petting him while he eats, and taking away his food midway and petting him and giving him lots of love and he's never growled fussed or anything. He's now 15 weeks and he's our best friend

Socialize your puppy as soon as it’s fully vaccinated to everything! And anything! You can .. Sceneries - other animals ( big and small) - parks est. cities.. water est You’ll have an amazing corso!!! They have the aggression. Don’t think you need to teach it. They just need to know how and when to turn on and off when needed! - friendly advice😇
@TheDogMessiah
@TheDogMessiah 3 жыл бұрын
Friendly but unrealistic advice. If your dog is genetically pre disposed to being aggressive ( which all dogs are especially mixed mastiff type dogs like corsos ) you can make it works by not handling it properly. Maybe you would handled it well Kimberly, why would you do if you take your pup out to smell roses and butterflies but instead, he’s growling at strangers as they notice his beautiful eyes, what would you do? To think a dog magically has a sense of what is right or wrong is not helping anyone. How would you handle it Kimberly? I know I would handle it the right way and he would never end up like Kylo. Kylos dad will be eve have this issue again as he is wiser now.

It’s all about Communication. I mention before of how important it is to choose the right Pup for You. By buying from a Knowledge Breeder, many do a Character or Personality Evaluation. This enables Them to give a more Dominant Pup to an Experienced Owner instead of a Novice. To get the First time Novice Owner an more Docile Submissive Pup,. Not that this is an inferior Pup, it’s just the one that fits the Knowledge, and Experience Level of the New Family member. Here was the fact that Boy was the Disciplinarian and gave more Commands than Reinforcement and Praise. Also Male Dogs tend to gravitate towards Females as to Men. So is My experience. My Rotti Stud Loved My Wife, and the Bitch Loved Me. Later after evaluating My handling of Beno, I found that I was doing more Controlling than Loving. I thought I had to Dominate Him DAILY or He’d get out of hand. After changing some issues, We were speaking the same Language. If You get a Dominant Pup, You need to get it under control before 6-9 months. The longer You wait the bigger the Problem. And ignoring it all together is dangerous for Everyone.

I like how he explained that the discipline he gives is with the chain.With these breeds...discipline shouldn't be harsh...but in a controlled and stern but mild manner.This guy knows this breed...This breed must have constant training.Hey if anyone's wondering why he's like that with his master I've noticed.because this breed is a dominant breed...and they will take the lead if the owner doesn't...they will in certain terms "TRY" to over dominate their masters...not to be mean but because this type of breed can/do/and will take charge given the chance....and they will challenge being the pack leader...it's natural for this breed.It's not that the owner isn't taking the lead....they just liked to see if they can be the pack leader...not their master.

Thanks so much! Well I was shocked too! Had dad was the only person he had reacted to since the dollar general outing and a couple of others. He felt victimized by his dad and Kylo is not a victim. Perception is reality, your Hank on the other hand, is very much an victim, of circumstance perhaps but still. Think Hank is gonna greet you all in the way Kylo did his dad? This is rare but Kylo is the most reactive red zone corso I have worked with in years. That’s saying a lot.

Hi guys! I just came across your videos and believe in training methods used. I recommend using a Herm Sprenger prong collar as it evenly distributes the pressure around the dogs neck. Also with large breed dogs a 3.0 Herm Sprenger collar.

@TheDogMessiah 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks I appreciate it but respectfully, noo you’re wrong. We know what to use and that heavy ass collar will great issues. We don’t need force, that’s the wrong way. Thanks for watching. I have so many videos where I discuss this exactly.
@davidproctor9079
@davidproctor9079 3 жыл бұрын
Heavy? How does a distribution plate in the center make a collar heavy? Maybe using a 3.0 over a 2.25 makes it mildly heavier but then again a 2.25 on a bigger dog is way more “pinch per inch” the smaller the links the MORE intense it makes a correction. I always laugh when someone says the small pinch is for little dogs 🤣 like it’s impressive. Sorry but if you think a herm springer is less effective then another pinch with all the prongs in the same direction please explain how I’d love to know lol

I have a two year old male corso... absolutely the best dog I’ve ever had but, his father was EXACTLY like this dog. Sadly, he ended up having to be put down. It’s my belief that he was placed with the wrong owner from the get go. Obviously these dogs are not all the same but, these backyard breeders that give no care to where their puppies go, are the worst! They are just as bad as the owners that want them as trophy or status symbol. People need to understand how powerful they are, they have capability of being the equivalent to a handgun and it’s the owners responsibility to be the safety.

The dog knws something we don't knw! Dad hasn't been loving him the right way and the dog can feel this! He needs to show him true love along with good training. In my eyes: Before people buy strong breeds they really need to knw how to be a strong leader because these types of dogs require this if not people will have unstable dogs who always end up in the pound getting euthanize because they have bitten someone..

This is my thing everyone wants these guard & fighting breeds like cane corso, rottweiler, bullmastiff, doberman, bully, game dog, American bulldog, bandog, & kangal and so forth and so on but dont really want to take there time and really train there dogs. When I was in elementary I got my 1st dog and she was a bullmastiff and I had her for 9 years and I didn't need anyone's help because I us to look at dog training videos when I was little. An through those 9 year she was one hell of a dog & yea every dog is not perfect and yes she had a few fights but always showed her respect and she gave it right back point blank it's not hard.

Then dad understandably tried to use physical punishments but without knowing when, how or why then the dog begins thinking that the owner is irrational when in fact it’s the dog that is. I know that from all the data I sense when we let him out. That’s why I don’t yell orders at the dogs ( cranberry hell yes I do though :) Kylo, not his dad is to blame. I don’t blame him if he punished the dog with hitting if it was out of frustration. I’ve done it with my GSD when she wouldn’t stop whining in the car she’s a loving dog but man I just ran out of patience that day. I know I have to ignore her and give her treats when she’s quiet but she can really be annoying in the car. Obviously what I did made her stressed even more and whine more. Won’t do it again. Btw I just shoved her but I’d never hit my dog to the level of hurting her

Humans have to understand how sensitive dogs are, so when an inexperienced person shouts or is physical with a dog, alot of psychological damage is done to that dog. Most dog owners l see don't have any idea how to even walk with a dog on or off the lead. People just get s dog without doing any research and then wonder why their dog takes no notice of them. Fantastic video.

But for some reason if I put a leash under one of his front legs he absolutely hates it and will do a back flip to get our of it but eventually settles down soo weird. How certain things work and certain things don't. Another thing he does is leap at every car. But yet super gentle towards cats

I'm not even a dog trainer but, I have enough experience with dogs to know there is nothing genetically wrong with this dog even though that's what the trainer said. It's clear to me that the owner of this dog, is the only one that hits the dog and the rest of the family doesn't, which is something I had to learn, NEVER hit your dog because, they will lose respect for you and live in a state of insecurity, which can lead to aggression.

The owner of the dog SHOULD NEVER be scared of their pet. The owner fears his dogs potential. Any animal should have a balance of respect and fear for the human/owner. While you have a ton of passion, and good intention there are some cues that could hurt potential clients. I.e. "youre not scared of him right?"
@TheDogMessiah
@TheDogMessiah 3 жыл бұрын
Ok, well I appreciate your insight but I am not the dogs owner and I have owned dogs I was afraid of. In fact after nit seeing y dog Tsavo wile I was in the ER for 16 days near death, I upon returning was hesitant to interact with him because as a pup he hated people. He’s an Ovcharka and why wouldn’t I ask the owners if they’re scared before I approach with a red zone irrational dog? Lol. Also the dog has had nothing but success since being home. I just uploaded proof on my video with the cops and in Insta. So you also realize that I am not speculating as you are. I am speaking from hard core time tested and real experience. I saw the latest video of your beautiful Dobe pup and may I tell you the hair clip interaction was a foolish thing to do. Moreover when you asked her to get down and touched her, she didn’t understand that exchange and well I know you’re not on my level. No respect meant but I am the Dog Messiah.
@marcv.5574
@marcv.5574 3 жыл бұрын
@@TheDogMessiah can you explain why it was foolish, the hair clip video. I do understand i am not on your level with dogs as stated your passion is incredible. :) In regards to asking why it is a bad idea to ask the owner if he isn't scared is because the client is coming to you for a solution and asking the client if he is scared of his own dog- 1) some may question (maybe not kylos owner) how effective your training is going with the dog, and 2) the owner is now not on subconsciously fearing the dog but actually showing fear with his body language because of the question; youre not scared right?-This has nothing to do with dogs but with customer service and business practices.
@TheDogMessiah
@TheDogMessiah 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, well it’s not that it was wrong. Just that the communication on her part was being misinterpreted. If your goal was to tell her enough then it wasn’t done right. The hair clip thing is aviation based and not letting her have it causes issues. She should always be given an item at by you tease her with. I don’t care if it’s a hair clip. I give my dogs old shoes and they love cranberry’s old shoes more. It’s just the way you talked to her. I can reup load it and explain for you if it helps and narrate what I would do. Lovely dog to be sure.

Well, please I hope you understand the spirit in which I say this. It tell you the truth, that interaction is a seed planted and one day when she starts chewing remotes and things with the scent of your hands you won’t equate the harvest to the planting. So all though she hasn’t yet, your actions in that video are telling her to do just that. This is why you shouldn’t tease them that way. I tell you, I have the gift and the good word. Try it and see. Try the things I preach about and see why I don’t care what the whole vast world thinks. I know, I am the Dog Messiah

I don’t want to accuse Anyone or throw shade on Anyone but You can see the Pup is Terrified, Uncertain, and I believe was wrongfully disciplined. Possibly with being hit, or so. I think the Positions weren’t made clear and therefore the Pup acts accordingly. The Owner has to gain the Trust and Respect back from His Pup. I saw how the Pup noticed Him standing up the street, and if let loose would have given Boy the Business. The problem here is that Boy wants to have the Pup, but is not doing the Work. The Father on the other hand, may be Authoritative but the Pup Respects Him. This just shows You that with Love and Respect, ALL things are possible . This Trainer took a Unfamiliar Pup to His house and Trained Him in a short amount of time. Because He KNEW what to do. A lot of People will be having issues like this, simply because They’ve not continued learning with Their Pups/ Dogs, and Understanding the Conversation You’re having by not saying a Word. With Animals things are 98% Visual and 2% Audible. Have You noticed when Your Dog gets Hyped, He’ll make Himself look bigger, probably before He barks. All Animals do it, INCLUDING the Human. Knowledge Never stops. But the fact that the Pup was willing to give Boy the Business, shows Me that things between the 2 hasn’t been Positive.
