Perfect pop song... god i miss the early 80s

This song means so much to me. When it was released, I was studying a subject which would lead me into a career I didn't want but which everyone around me wanted me to have. This song helped me understand I wasn't alone in my dilemma - so many other young people must have been going through the same experience. In the end I decided that my indecisive angst couldn't be any worse than the furore which would ensue when I rebelled. Many years later I found myself in a similar situation, albeit much worse - indeed, it was life-threatening. Having ridden the storm once, I knew I could ride it again. (Keep Feeling) Fascination was with me in those dark days too. Now the life I live is so much more than I ever dreamed it could have been. Thank you, Human League.

My favorite Human League song, the song and fascinating video premiered on a very young MTV in my freshman year at college, in April, 1983. I crushed on the dark-haired girl, the beautiful Joanne Catherall, and digged the vibe and style of the whole group, which was totally unlike myself.
