It was a beautiful truck, people ask why Jeeps cost so much and I ask them to find a factory vehicle that can do this kind of stuff so easily. Interested to see how the Bronco performs when it hits the shelves.

@@Kevin24Seven - agreed. Yeah, the Bronco certainly looks nice and appears to have some good functionality. I'm hoping the competition will push all 4x4 manufacturers in a positive direction.

What’s crazy is, for those trails, the Mojave isn’t even the best choice. The rubicon would be even more capable with the front locker and remote sway bar disconnect. The Mojave is unfortunately lacking those two features for these types of trails.
@Kevin24Seven3 жыл бұрын
@@Tinker3504 I agree, despite being on pretty dusty loose dirt it did amazing with no front locker! Although we did not hit anything considered to be "hard" on the map that time.

Nice comparison!! Notice that the hummer has the same grill as a Jeep dose? Both have the 7 slots! I like to think that both brands are part of the same unit of the military! A 10 HUT!!!!!
@UncleRayRayGarageEmporium2 жыл бұрын
If I'm not mistaken, the Humvee needs wheel spin to lock the diffs. I thinknit was 1/2 to 2 rotations of the tire. Try it out. If not, you can "two foot" it and drag the brakes to act like a locker. I think I saw that in the driver's manual and instructions for offroad travel. Can't remember what year or model. That could be a big difference.
@Kevin24Seven2 жыл бұрын
Yep, I would do that constantly and from what I could tell no wheel spin was required. They locked right up just as good as a locker. Only side effect was some additional power loss due to the friction of the brakes but 4 low would allow you to power right through that.

Hey man cool video but the beginning was kind of frustrating to watch because of how you were taking it too easy on the hmmwv making it look weak. I have learned how capable the hmmwv is by running mine on trails along side rubicons and atv’s many times. I think it’s biggest weakness is it’s width but other than that...I normally just send it and let the beast do it’s thing while occasionally applying BTM. Also, sounds like it’s time to refill your steering fluid. Keep making these cool videos.
@Kevin24Seven3 жыл бұрын
Hey sorry to hear you were frustrated lol. I am a bit harder on er now but its my daily driver and no need to put it out of action if I can take an obstacle a little slower and accomplish the same thing with no risk. My pump is noise but not low, idk why it does that.
@FirstNameLastName-hy2iz3 жыл бұрын
@@Kevin24Seven I didn’t think it might have been you daily driver. Yeah I understand now why you were so easy on her. I had that same noise coming from the pump too. I fixed mine by following these steps: Start engine with steering reservoir capped with a good seal. Turn wheel all the way right and left 5 times. Turn engine off and remove steering reservoir cap and let stand for about 30 mins. Cap reservoir and repeat steps until noise stops. It should work if it’s just an air pocket issue.

@@FirstNameLastName-hy2iz awesome, I will try that! Does it need to be off the ground for this to work?

Hey thanks man. I actually clarified this in the begining of the video. Most people don't know what a Humvee is so I just call it an H1. I have built this rig from a raw military Humvee, I hope you check out some of the other videos!
@Kevin24Seven3 жыл бұрын
Also not that big of a difference between the two. The guts are about the same as they came off the same assembly line. Interior is obviously much more refined on the H1 and you have a few other goodies but same chassis, very similar drivetrain, same motor depending on the year and model, similar body, main difference performance wise is the Humvee is much lighter which is nice to say the least!

H1 is not even close to a HMMV Laughs otut Loud. Just like a JKU is not a jeep. Sure it looks like one but is just a four door mall mobile
@Kevin24Seven3 жыл бұрын
Not true. The H1s and Humvees literally came off the same assembly line.... the only differences are all the luxury options. A Humvee is essentially a stripped down H1. Arguably better off road because of the lighter weight but all around the same vehicle from the outside. Same frame, diffs, tranny, engine, axles, drive shafts, body, transfer case, etc. as an equivalent year H1. Any one who has been off roading would also know the capabilities of a JKU. While I hate the stereotypical douchebag mall crawler, a JKU on 37s with lockers is probably a good bit more capable than my Humvee on 37s... albeit a lot more expensive.
