I met Probert when he arrived at the federal prison in Rochester, MN to serve a six month sentence circa 1999. I worked in the receiving and discharge area so I booked him into prison. He was very friendly and surprisingly to me, very humble and it had nothing to do with him being in prison. It just struck me he was like that. We talked about hockey and my MN North Stars. I will always respect Bob and admire his career. Rest in peace #24.

Probie was a great guy that did his job well. He deserved many years of enjoyment with family and friends. So sad of this sudden death. 😟

Probert is a legendary name in the hockey world.My son was born in 2000 and he knows who Bob Probert is.

Good to see that Tie Domi, with whom Probert amassed many “Frequent Fighter Miles” attended. The two often exchanged blows throughout their careers but later became friends. That’s the way it should be…..
