we had one in poland as well the Polska Partia Przyjaciół Piwa, which translates to Polish Party of Friend of Beer. Their main goal was to decrease amount of vodka being drunk by poles by replaceing it with beer. They even quolified to parlament in 2004 (i think).

He also fucked the attempt to switch sides because the Hungarian armies got massacred and the Nazis could easily occupy the country. He also betrayed Yugoslavia to get some further territories (that's when Teleki Pal killed himself). Etc etc.... If we wouldn't have gone to war with the soviets things would have been way different.

There were basicaly two choices: Get invaded by Germany, or invade Yugoslavia. That’s why Teleki Pál killed himself. And durring the invasion of the Soviet Union Germany staged a bombing on the Hungarian-Soviet broder and then said that it was the Soviets. So again: we either join the war against the Soviets or get invaded by Germany. Germany was still wining at that point too. But the failing to switch sides plan was very poorly executed and I do believe that that was partly Horthy’s fault.

You are not telling the truth. The overwhelming majority of newspapers and internet portals in Hungary are owned by foreign media companies and critical of the government.
