god when I was a kid, I'd say to mum please let me watch this, I was 7 at the time damn our time has gone by today.

I was only planning on watching season 1 and 2 of this show. Not due to reviews, but because I generally only watch the first and second season of series and move on so I can keep trying new stuff. However, I am loving this show! Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer are brilliant. I'm still not sure how I missed this show when it first aired?! It must've been up against Miami Vice for Knight Rider, shows I watched religiously. Or it might've been aired late at night. Australian tv stations often put shows like this in late slots, like 10.30pm. Anyway, I'm just glad to be watching it now.

I watched Fred Fryer on Diagnosis Murder once. He played a Police Captain.

Season 2 ended with an episode that depicts someone jumping out of a speeding Camaro chased by Hunter. Season 3 begins with with someone being pushed out of a speeding Camaro being chased by Hunter.

The mobile/car phone at the 33 minutes mark, is truly laughable...! 😂🤣 Sure, you can take a landline phone and place it in a car... but it doesn't make it a carphone...!! Nice prediction though...!!! 😎😉👍

I love it when you meet Charlie for the first time. I remember thinking he was going to hate Hunter like the rest of the captains until he closes the door and Hunter calls him by his first name showing how close they actually were. This show was one of my favorite memories with my granddad.

Sporty is starting to rub-off on me a little.. sinister little cat he is.

Now THIS is what TV was like back when TV was worth watching! Interesting plot twist in this episode. Just when you think the story is over when Hunter and the reporter shake hands, the reporter is killed!.... And the station manager is who did it! Just one thing: When he's arrested, he asks not to be handcuffed ("You won't need them"). In reality, he would be cuffed.

A great season premiere! You thought this was going one way then zagged another way and was pretty damn interesting. I did think Hunter going a bit crazy at the beginning was a little out of character. He can be rough and want things to go his way but he seemed like he was having a BAD day. Looks like Stepfanie Kramer dolled herself up as he looks a little different than last season. I LOVED how she looked when her name was on the credits. As for the story itself Mercado was a real scummy guy. Some on the right or just plain mistrustful of the media can see this as a good portrayal of the "liberal" media. I look at it in a slightly different way. Mercado is basically the ambulance chaser of news reporters. That said the story was pretty good. I liked how they strung along the Jenny aspect and all the scenes between Hunter and Mercado were excellent. Oh and Dee Dee's "gentle" approach? LOL!
