I lived in this area 6 years ... lots of history - i find the war history sad with the fires seems to destroyed this country - and didn’t recover since ....... , I lived in off Rotherhithe new Road and when I first moved in I felt the place was full of ghostly presence I imagined I heard people cheering in crowds and I know there’s a football pitch but sometimes I heard it in the wind and there wasn’t a match on ... very strange and it stopped after a year and half ..... but borough market terror attack really did it for me I couldn’t enjoy living there anymore , followed by Covid - which Im glad I was in london now because I’m Covid it felt safer than I think outside the city , I’m living outside the city now , l miss the city strangely enough -- I don’t know what it is --

We don't have such a long history in Australia as you do in the UK which is why I love traveling to London purely because of the history. I am only in Sydney because the UK transported my family here and we've been here ever since 🙄

I know where execution dock was. If you walk down the beach towards tower bridge for about 10 mins you will come across a warn down pier with moss and broken wood. That was execution dock.
