Follow us putting in the hard yards to chase the majestic Himalayan Tahr in New Zealand. Hunting that we will never forget and feel blessed to be able to do. This episode we finally get Blair to pull the trigger after letting a heap of opportunities walk.

A lovely pair of Thar to you both 😃. Although not new to shooting, I am relatively new hunting and at 70 years young, I'm still have haven't shot a Thar or Chamois, but plenty of Fallow, a couple of Reds and Wallabies, some shot with a muzzle loader. I get out to appreciate the scenery, an animal is a bonus. Keep up your lovely videos please.

Thanks for that. They sure are good value for money. You'd only just buy a high mileage Surf or 1/2 an 80 series for 10k!

Great hunt guys. Yes that scree is bloody horrible with heavy packs. Nice wee valley that one, when I was last up there we had to walk in as the station manager wasn't letting anyone drive up. We crossed the scree and set up camp in the bush edge. Every time I drive past on my way up main valley further I'm reminded of fond and not so fond memories 🙂

@erichuntter2437 got a wallaby hunt coming up in a few weeks. Plus local small game whenever. The possums are out in force at the moment! Testing some thermal scopes at the moment. INFIRAY TH35 V2. So so cool

Nice trip boys. One of your last comments is 100% spot on. In the last 4 years I’ve start collecting trophies for the same reason. When I can’t do it anymore I only have to look at my trophies and relive my experiences. Must be a age thing.

Very enjoyable watch, thanks for posting. You gotta finda better route into that area, are you sure you can't climb then sidle into it ? That snow throw in the bush and creek is just "unappealing"

I LOVE it.. but I've done a fair bit. Front an rear airlockers, winch plate, bash plates. Suspension lift, big mud tires, reduction gears etc. However the whole truck still only owes me 10k or so
