Well that was disappointing! Once you got on the key you turned left. Straight ahead was the north beach. Then you got to middle beach and turned into the parking lot. You came out and went back north. If you had kept going south you would have gone in the Charlotte county portion of Manasota key. This is where there are condos, older mobile homes and single family homes and a lot more damage plus our south beach..Charlotte counties only Gulf beach. It’s so sad that Englewood will never be the same! However our beaches held up pretty good. That God we had off shore winds. That really helped save our beaches.

Manasota Beach was the 1st Beach I'd ever been to or seen. 1972, lived in S.Venice at 16

From the shell to stump pass is a war zone. The biggest problem is gauckers.

Kind of strange video racing down the road just showing side trees and stuff then you get to Middle Beach and pull in the parking lot which by the way pretty much always looks like that with the puddles All Summer Long due to the rain and the bad parking lot. Too bad you didn't go a lot farther oh well thanks anyway.

North side of Key was blocked off by road under water at the time.

I would have like to sea if the Seafarer motel was undamaged, just south of the public beach, also past middle beach there used to be an old cracker house that has stood for a long time. It woud be nice to think it made it. Thank you for the update.
