*** Update *** Dealer replaced the oil drain spigot and said it was leaking where it attached to the engine. So far so good and I will keep watching like a hawk for more oil leaks.
looking for help finding oil leak. comment down below if you have any ideas.

Just got it back from the dealership where it was fixed under warranty. They said it was the oil drain valve spigot where it attached to the engine. I've ran it once and so far it does seem to be not leaking anymore. I will keep monitoring the situation after every use to be sure. But for now it seems to be fixed.

I have the exact same machine with 32.hours on it. Oil leak in the same spot. I'm heading to Best Line to see what they plan to do. THanks for the video

Hi, if you've searched youtube and come across my videos you'll remember I had a hustler for a few months before the dealer had to buy it back, it wouldn't cut for beans. I think the deck was warped. I'd trade for a mower that cuts with an oil leak any day :) anyways, at how many hours did you change your oil? what oil did you use? I'd wipe everything again, and run it (without mowing) for a bit. warm it up, then drive it in the driveway at full throttle for about 10-15 mins, then let it sit over night. Also place a piece of cardboard under the mower and see if you can catch any leaks on the floor, then try to back track while the oil is still clean. A few things to check would be the oil filter, the oil dipstick and where the filler neck goes into the engine, there's a bolt with an o-ring towards the bottom. the other thing to check is the oil pressure sensor, just above and to the left of the filter, do not break this part. i'd make sure the metal oil drain valve is tight where it goes into the engine, AND where you use a 10mm wrench to crack it open to drain your oil. hustler adds this metal drain piece to the kawasaki and every other hustler i've seen leaks. the other place where it could be leaking is the crank seal above the clutch. put a bright flashlight down there then put your camera phone on a video angle and make a video shining it all around to see up underneath without removing the motor. that looks like a 2021/2022 model so it's under warranty. But if it's something as snugging a bolt by all means i'd do it yourself that way it doesnt sit at the shop for months. I had several hustler videos but removed them since i no longer recommend hustler. keep the oil level correct and you'll find it eventually :)

I replied before i finished your video. (i got excited lol) it may be the crankcase seal (oil pan twds the front) or the crank seal. if you pause your video at exactly 3:27, you can see a drop of oil ready to drip directly above your middle finger. so with that information, id' wipe EVERYTHING clean, and then run it for 15 minutes WITHOUT driving it around. chances are the oil is leaking from the front of the crankcase and mowing and airflow is causing it to get everywhere under there, that's a hot mess of oil. if you run it without driving it will heat up and pressurize everything and make is seep out of the leak point. this is starting to sound like a warranty claim :( I bought a brand new 2022 scag tiger cat ii and the briggs vanguard leaked from the same place because their robotic arm that applied the bead of gasket material ran out half way around the crankcase. not to mention both wheel motors leaked from improper torque and also the hydro gear fittings at the pump and wheel motors leaked. $12k scag, 5 oil leaks over night, i never even mowed with it. i've had 4 new scags in 2 years, all had issues, that's why i bought the hustler and boy did that fail. i'm done with mowers built during covid, and now they are marked up so high it's nuts. anyways best of luck, please keep us posted :)

Haven't found it yet. Might wait until after next oil change to verify oil filter surface. If that's not it I may try to get it looked at under warranty. We should both report here if either of us find something.

Absolutely. I have the FT691v engine. So I guess it’s across the engine line up. Mine is a 2023 54” Fastrak.

@@Bendc1970A1 My leak ended up being a loose or faulty engine oil pressure switch which was leaking.

@@Bendc1970A1 Actually, Long story short. Same thing here! Did they replace the oil drain spigot. I had to find the leak. The shop couldn’t find it. I’m replacing the stock spigot with a oil drain hose.
