Chicken Dum Biryani
Ingredients
Chicken - 600 grams
30 mins soaked basmati rice - 2 cups (Approx. 400 grams)
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbl spoon
Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - ½ teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon
Oil - 4 tbl spoon
Ghee - 2 tbl spoon
Juice of half lemon
Green chilli - 2
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
Curd - 4 tbl spoon
Fried onion - 2
Bay leaf - 1
Cardamom - 2
Black cardamom - 1
Cloves - 5
Cinnamon stick
Saffron milk - ¼ cup
Salt - 1¾ tbl spoon
Water - 8 cups for2 cups of rice

This is by far the most easiest, tastiest and failproof recipe of a chicken dum Biryani. It turned out amazing. I haven't been getting biryani right since very long despite following many other recipes but this one is definitely a keeper.

Pls Di tell me one thing should I cook chicken firs? Because I think in 30 minutes in low flame chicken can not cook properly. As I think but I don't know because I didn't try this .

@@seemapal8029 Hi Seema pal, believe me, chicken gets cooked very well with this. First keep it in medium-high flame for 5mins, and immediately to a dosa tawa for next half hour (low fame). Make sure that the steam doesnot release out during the entrie process and wait for 10mins after taking it from dosa tawa.

@@tanumakeupartist boiled the rice separately until it was 70-80% cooked. then added it on top of the chicken and closed it for it to cook further. I did not cook the chicken separately at all. It cooked with the rice as it is shown in the video.
