My chair won't go down. It goes up and holds and locks no problem but won't allow me to bring it down. And I do find oil released around the unit for a while. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My new styling chair will not swivel unless I have my foot on the pedal all the way down then it moves, otherwise locked. Never had this with other chairs.

what about a knocking noise while i have someone in my chair ? As i lift the chair it works but after a few minutes it starts to knock like really LOUD . What do i do for that ? please help.
@johnnychaffin3075 жыл бұрын
If you have the brake locked, it could be the pump is leaking down. As the pump leaks down the brake tries to hold the chair up, but has to let go, thus the popping noise. Of course this is a guess from your information.

You taking it up to high
@SaloncaEquipmentBeautySupply4 жыл бұрын
We've serviced pumps with loud knocking sounds in the past and had 50/50 success rate. You can try by pumping the lever about 30-40 times (continue after reaching maximum height) and releasing the pump immediately after. I would try this a few times...good luck!

You guys don't happen to have instructions on topping off the hydraulic fluid? All the pumps seemed to have leaked in shipping to me.
@johnnychaffin3075 жыл бұрын
Probably not leaked, just residual oil from manufacturing. They can be filled, but not recommended. Call factory for more info. 800.292.6450

Camp, We have a "Maintenance" video that discusses this. We recommend any light oil or 3N1.

I've had my Collins chair 1yr. Johnny has sent me 4 pumps including the free base. He knows these are junk. He says humans make mistakes. I'm 2k into this nightmare. With my 7yr warranty I just keep having to change it out every 3 months. I would not recommend.
