Dude - WTH is the maggot/larve that appears on the show in the tub at @2:47 :D did you use him for cleaning the oil galleries out?:) Just on with my rebuild and putting it back together so reviewing these again and it caught my eye! Great videos.

I am impressed by the amount of work you put down on this BMW. I have a love hate relationship with my E91. So I do a lot of work on it. But I will probably give it away before I do half as much work on it as you have done with yours.

Thanks! Much has been done. Mainly, I wanted to learn how to make yourself and thinking of this as a hobby. Sometimes even a little overwork 👍

@@JaniVoutilainen My interest is as a hobby or curiosity to. Restoring cars is much better than meditation. And some times sex. But my OCD force me to make the car back to optimal function. When ever I find something that look or feel out of place. But keeping the E91 in optimal working condition. Is an endless loop of reading technical specs. And buying parts and tools. The car is to great to get rid of. And it is excellent to drive. Even compared to newer cars. But I know That I will keep throwing money at it forever. Because modern BMW are mechanical marvels of complex systems. Made with fragile parts waiting to fail when they have passed 150 000 km.

Nicely done! Looks like rust pitting on that inlet, seen worse on N47 which ran and sounded okay but I think I'd be looking for a replacement personally.

Great video by the way. I’m currently replacing new valves seals on my BMW n43 engine. After inspecting the hydraulic valves there was no spring on the entire row on the exhaust side. Do you think I need to replace them? Thanks mate, Mike
