Most of the Ferrari's featured on TopGear have been owners cars, Nick Mason ring any bells, Ferrari won't let official motor journalists do the race, especially a brand as large as TopGear. Most modern Ferrari's especially their special editions have an invited seller list, a list of clients that are invited to purchase, so most of the hypercars launched are sold out before any journalist can get their meaty hands upon them. The internet as become the road test editors dream, its so quick to make a video and upload it, TopGear was always having to think ahead and make their well edited videos months before the show airs, all the studio stuff was literally done a few weeks prior to the show going out. So the youtube car spotting channels have kind of replaced the hardcore petrolheads fix, for their petrol fuelled needs, and I must say I welcome it, TopGear will have to adopt this quicker style to move with the times. And for what I can see, manufacturers are using more of these types of channels, because its cheaper, and less political when it comes to permissions granted, because at the start of this video there was a disclaimer stating that all the cars are owners cars, well 2 of them are Salomondrins. Which makes the whole process easier.

I know of someone (only online, I'm not trying to claim the person as a friend of anything) that bought a Koenigsegg, had it legally here in the US,...then the story gets questionable. He ended up not being happy with it, and Koenigsegg agreed to take the car back.
