Just to be sure no one is confused: I LOVE brands like The Ordinary and CeraVe for their accessibility, simple formulas, and affordability. But I prefer Korean skin care overall because of their superior formulas and technology! (ie my skin care routines are always mostly made up of Korean skin care lol) 💖

Hyram Hi Hyram! I have a question. So recently I’ve been getting bumps between my chin and my lower lip. They’re just hard bumps of skin. They’re not red and they don’t go away. I used to have them on my nose but those went away after a couple of years. It’s just annoying, do you have any recommendations?

Omg I thought I was only person who thought this too. They always comment things like I don’t trust you I only trust hyram on random people’s videos who are stating facts/opinions about skincare and the video says things hyram always says in his yt videos. they just watch him on TikTok which I mean there’s nothing wrong with that but you can’t go around telling other people things because you haven’t heard hyram say it when most of the time he’s stated those things in his yt vids. No hate to hyram I love him and his channel I know he can’t control them but some of them should chill and maybe watch his yt videos. I love to watch hyram and many other skincare people to get different options about things and they just depend on his 60 second videos

@@parisinthe30sx I do like Frudia moisturizers. It is not heavy and gel-like, so hopefully it'll be suitable for combo skin. If you need heavier moisturization, let me know. But, this one is not greasy, so it seems like it will be up your alley. Koreans often use BB creams, which is far more popular than tinted moisturizers. Would trying a BB cream be too much coverage? Also, let me know what you prefer in skin care. Are you absolutely against fragrance/perfume? Do you prefer physical sunblock over chemical sunscreen (because BB creams/tinted moisturizers usually come with spf)?

as someone with HELLA red and sensitive skin I can say with confidence from personal experience that certain Korean skincare products really made a difference. Unfortunately in the US it's difficult to find products with high concentrations of mugwort, honey, green tea extract, etc. and if you find a product it's INCREDIBLY expensive. Korean products have high high concentrations of those ingredients and at a good price. 11/10 would recommend but please be careful because there are also a lot of Korean skincare products that will DELETE your skin so please do your research (especially some peel off masks damn those suck)

I live in Serbia, which we always jokingly call Narnia because no one ships here 😥 It started with a few Purederm sheet masks in a drugstore 3-4 years ago, and now we have a bunch of products from brands like it’s skin, neogen, Benton, cosrx, ariul, mbeauty, the skin house, cliv, coxir, mizon... Yeah, they’re a bit more expensive than in Korea, but at least we have access to them. 😄 There are also brands like tony moly, dr jart, too cool for school, skinfood, etc. in Sephora, but the prices are insane, so yeah, I’m never shopping those, can’t afford them 😅

I am a Korean who lives in America so like honestly when we go to Korea to meet relatives or something, we ALWAYS go shopping. And eating. Its out of the question. We always go. I have to save up to shop but even with my wimpy allowance I can buy tons of things because Korean products are soo cheap. I bought a beautiful amethyst Keychain from this small outside store( there are tons of these in korea) it was about 2 dollars (converted from us dollars to korean won). I also love these black semipermanent tattoos that lasted me about a week and a couple days which I got for about a dollar or two that had like 3 sheets with a bunch of designs.

I find it so weird how some people consider skincare to be too much of a 'luxury' and it's too too 'fancy' but practically endorse makeup that is way more expensive than a really good cleanser... I've had people tell me how it's a bit ridiculous of me to have a 5 step skincare routine but not wear make-up...😑😑😑
@gogumadalpaengi
@gogumadalpaengi 3 жыл бұрын
I've even been criticised for wearing sunscreen every single day of the year. I mean, make up doesn't do anything for your skin (okay, some brands have those enriched formula foundations but I wouldn't exactly rely on that...) and, well... Sooner or later, most skins WILL show how well they were taken care of, in comparison.

I personally don't use them but Hyram said not to judge anyone for liking them! It can be harsh for some people but for some it can be effective! And not all products by those brands are bad just most.

I mean don't judge ppl tho. Esp about fragrance. Because there are so many skin care youtubers/ppl that are fine with fragrance. I think its totally unnecessary but it doesn't irritate my skin so i don't care that much. Esp if i have a product im happy about that has frsgrance and haven't finished using it, then i keep using it until i finish.

@@cookiedough6791 I bought the one he recommended in his sunscreen video and it's awesome! I never used sunscreen in my routine because I hated the feeling, but this one feels really nice and my skin has improved a lot (i had a lot of sun damage)

Cookie Dough it is amazing it has no white cast at all and feels very good on the skin. The thing I don’t like about it is it is $18 for only 2oz

Watching this video from Cape Town, South Africa. Skincare is all the craze here yet so expensive. Growing into my own and realising the benefits of taking care of my skin only in my late 20s. Thanks for the informative channel, love it!!!
