Had the total DaVinci Hysterectomy 4 weeks ago, and am frustrated that I'm not further along in recovery. I've seen women who are ready to slay the world at 2 weeks post-op, so I feel like there's something wrong with me. I'm cramping just as you've said, and still get tired. My 6 week exam is in 2 weeks and I'm anxious to see how my cuff is healing. Thank you for the video, the medical community can be vague on what to expect afterwards.

I like hearing the different recovery experiences so I can get an idea what possibilities could happen when I finally get my hysterectomy scheduled for my Adenomyosis. I also like the way you go about giving the information. My husband & I definitely need to know how long I may need to rely on friends & family for everything including walking the dog (he's a 100 lb German Shepherd so I'll need accompaniment when I can walk with him in case there are certain neighbor dogs out that are more leash reactive & try to start a bark-yelling match).Thank you for sharing these!

I just had the same thing 9/22/17. I stopped taking the pain meds on day 3, my only issue is gas and sharp pains occasionally. 😕

Hi, I know this was in 2016, please forgive me. I searched and came across your video. I am in my 6th wk post op. Ugh! This was nothing like I expected it to be. I am also emotionally exhausted and frustrated...healing slow as well. Thank you for sharing your truth! If you don't mind me asking...did your body reject stitches or staple sutures? Just wandering, because my body has rejected 5 absorbable staples!! Three of them had to be pulled out. Just unbelievable!!! Again, thank you for sharing.

7wks post abdominal hysterectomy & bladder stitching. Still feeling like 💩. Pain & pressure in the vagina. It was supposed to be a laparoscopic hysterectomy. That didn't work so they tried vaginally and that didn't work so they did an abdominal hysterectomy and once they were inside they noticed my bladder was bulging so they stitched it up whatever that means. I feel like the street paver ran me over. I start work next week and I'm terrified. I am not okay. 😉 thx for posting. Not many videos on slow recovery.

Hi I had TDVH everything including ovaries removed! I've been back in the office two times for silver nitrate treatments I'm going on my fifth week as of this Friday it's very frustrating I feel OK crampy some twinges and sharp shooting pain's had a CAT scan done and it was normal so I'm wondering is it ever going to end and he gave me Estraceto try and help along the vaginal cuff healing but I was just wondering if this is completely normal to have granulation after the hysterectomy or my going to have to have surgery do you think
