I meant the i30N DCT is more fun compared to the yaris gr. tried both. veloster n dct does not exist in Germany :(

Hyundai needs to take their 4 wheel drive system from their i30 rally cars and put it in their road N performance cars....with 300hp at the wheels.

as a proud owner of a 2019 i30 fastback n if you are on the fence do not hesitate in one of the most fun cars ever to drive. you dont even have to speed to have fun, find a nice windy rd and just carve it up!

they don't even sell them in korea... shame. i guess they're trying to replace them with veloster n for hatch, and elantra n for sedan(for fastback n) new elantra n is coming in july tho

Does the NGS take the power from 206 to 213kw? 392Nm in both the DCT and in the manual that will be based on accelerator pedal input?

Unfortunately i don't think so. They would have probably made small changes to the E-LSD itself

Dont care about fun interior colors whilw driving. I added led strips inside for mood lighting. Rest looks fine.

I believe their focus for North America is SUVs. Just based off their market research, they wouldn't profit much from selling a fast hatchback.

@@syd_jzx100 I hate that excuse. It’s probably correct, but I can’t stand it. It reinforces the idea that Americans are wasteful, tasteless slobs who get easily excited by big things. Also, it’s hard to comprehend why, in a world of downsizing and electrification, SUV sales are at an all time high.

Impossible for a fwd drive car on the street. Traction is major issue. 5.2 secs or a little more...

Seems to ride and handle great on those super smooth GERMAN? roads but not sure with those 19" wheels and stiffened suspension how it will cope with bumpy UK B roads.

the only thing i can't decide is DCT or Manual. DCT is faster and much more comfort these days with so much traffic but manual shifting is pure fun and costs much less

Has the gearbox problem been resolved? Doesn't anyone say anything about it, or the steaming headlights? I don't want it to be mean, but the car disappointed me a bit when it was hard to get into gear, I went to Hyundai service and they still didn't solve the problem as it should! :(

@@AussiePikachu.sparky I had some problems with the gearbox, it doesn't go into speed easily. I went to the service and they changed the synchronous. but I still don't like how it changes gears, it hangs when entering gears, in gear 1 sometimes it gets stuck between speeds (somewhere in the middle). I went to Hyundai service and now they told me that the box changes well. I am very dissapointed.

Doesnt increasing the camber help lap times but at a cost of reduce tyre life span IF you use the car primarily as a daily/commuter? Lazy hyundai not spending the extra few $$ on a dual axis setup.

It is worrying for Australian talent, in particular for the younger generation, that they haven't been offered an opportunity to design, engineer, and manufacturer even a small vehicle locally in Australia and that a Korean player has been receiving support from the Australian Government instead. It is so appalling! Besides, Hyundai together with ACCC in Australia made consumer drivers put their lives at risk by having them 'drive vehicles with potentially faculty airbags' to the dealerships for a fix.
