The SU-57 isn't that stealthy. Look at Sukhoi's patent. The only companies that have really nailed down the manufacturing of such designs are Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin. It's stealthier than a lot of 4th gen platforms, but definitely nowhere near 5th gen platforms.

once i got locked in a headon with F-5E when it was at its most OP status with a red skies mig-23. even down to 2km my R-23T and IRST can't lock his heat so i kept spamming it until he decided to flare. that's when my missile launched and disassemble the entire plane

I got the F-8E only to realize it gets uptiered 90% of the time, and an uptier to 11.0 in a plane with no RWR is a truly miserable experience

@@doodiezgrandpa6520 It's not the best, but it's broken. When you get a team of competent A-5C players it's quick game since 2 Magics = 2 kills. The R-60 on the Yak 38 can be flared easily, while the AIM-9G on the AV-8A can also be flared. Magics are different, they're basically immune to flares and pull 30G. The main problem I have with it is that it gets airspawn while having a modified MiG-19 airframe and carrying the best IR missile in the game. BR 10.0 is way too low for it. It should be at least 10.3 or even 10.7.

With flares just get off after burn and turn a little to throw the flares off to the side from where you trying to fly towards. Use mountains and hills when low altitude, can also use the sun too if it’s low. Always good to know where the sun is. But if you are high alt then just dive or do the first part I’ve mentioned. Those are for atams that pull/track great. If you stay fast and got distance you can outrun the atam. You’ll learn all this over time. Just avoid being slow as best as possible and that’s about it. Can learn how to roll out atams like F-104s do but you need speed for that too.

If you have 1 K.D with Soviet Jets you are good. I only have 1 K.D with the MiG-27 and 21SMT. (My highest Jets). MiG-17 and F-13 are negative. Them western Jets with unlimited ammunition take absolutely no skill to play. Especially those with mini-gun pods.

@@scudb5509 And as a serious answer, there's a lot skill taken to do well in US jets too, In sabres you have to have good target priority, just like in anything else, you have to keep your speed up as dogfighting with russian jets will get you killed. Sure, many russian planes will be harder to aim and manage ammo, but it doesn't mean that they're not "brain-dead" in their own right. Things like MiG15bis can literally energy trap like 3 people at once and it's not rare to see good players pulling off 1v2 or even 1v3 dogfights. Sure it's also because enemy players played it poorly, but it's also because their plane had enough performance to let the player do it. And no, 1kd doesn't mean you're good, it literally means that you have a solid chance to just get one kill and die, which is not good, especially since - by looking at the numbers - it happens more often than not.

@@Gl1tchman I was on about F-4s and F-5s primarily. Or any jet equipped with a lot of gun ammo. Literal spray and pray. When I discovered how much ammo MiG-21SMT had I was shocked. (A lot for what I was used to). But, then I got to play with an F-4 that had 800 rounds, you gotta be joking.

eh...? the MiG 27 is an attacker, is worse than the MiG 23 in pretty much everything except gun and CAS capabilities. there is 0 chance of the Soviets getting the MiG 29 soon, the next plane in the line will be the MiG 23MLA, MLD, MiG 25 or MiG 31

@@kek207 not that much, the MLA and MLD only get R-24s, R-60s, R-13Ms and R-73s, and since the R-73 is out of the equation the only thing new would be the R-24, that is just a slighty better R-23, it would be a better skyflash but not by a lot. The MiG 25 would get R-40s or R-60s, the R-40s would have a lot more range than a Sparrow for example but it would be a giant flying dildo that can only go straight because for 1970' missiles go as far as 50-70km they need to go ballistic. The MiG 31 would be a real gsme changer depending on the variant, it would get shit ton of missiles and 4 R-33s that are basically Aim-54 Phoenix on steroids, and if it is the BM variant it can carry 4 R-33s together with 4 R-73/74s, R-60s, R-27 or R-77s. The MiG 23 MLA/MLD would fit in the game perfectly, giving the USSR a good F-4 counterpart. The early variants of MiG 25 would be balanced, having only as strong suit the long range SARHs/IRs ( the R-40 has a IR variant named R-40T, but has less range because the IR signals are too weak at those ranges ), powerfull radar and speed. It would be a flying brick that makes the F-104 look like beyblades and the low altitude speed is mediocre. The MiG 31 on the other hand would be a bit too strong and is more suited as a F-14 counterpart (disclaimer: is not in IRL and not even close, but in game would be a decent counter) thanks to the improved handling ( still shit but now it can dance a bit ), acceleration, even more powerfull radar, missiles and top speed

@@grass123 The R33 of the Mig 25 combined with the truly insane thrust and speed would make a great Pahntom killer at long range. The R33 would need to have much superior range to the Aim7 tho otherwise it would be useless

@@kek207 the MiG 25 cant use R-33s, only R-40s that are significantly inferior. the acceleration wouldn't be that good, yes, the MiG 25 has 2 big engines but the plane is very heavy, it would have an acceleration similar to the MiG 23ML / F-4s the R-40 yes, would be a great Phantom Killer but thats it, it has a lot of range but the lack of maneuverability would hurt a lot. Still, the R-40 would be too strong for the game RN,

Yes i am not defyn. No i dont know if you bought anything yet. Yes you shoul probably wait for october sales if you havent bought yet. And that depends on you. I personally have the SU7BMK and i can easily get 30-35k RP for a match that doesnt even last 25 mins. In a losing match i still get like 20k rp. I researched the mi27 the su17m2 and up to the MiG-21F in 2 weeks- 2,5 weeks without playing 24/7 + you can basically have a bit more relaxed gameplay in the mean time as well Its basically a no brainer. You get free rp for dropping bombs and RTB and repeat. And not even in uptiers is it bad since its at 9.3 ofc. In a downtier nothing can really catch you. In your tier you are still one of the top dogs in speed. In and uptier there are phantoms and f104-s that outrun you but since they are fighters you can still drop 1 load completely without risk of getting shot down and if your team is half decent you can go in for more and more. If you want to dogfight in it. Well dont. You can jump unsuspecting players or join a furball where everyone lost a significant amount of speed and target the slowest planes then get out of there. The best anti-plane option tho is a head on with S-24s with a 1000m fuze on them. If you like dogfighting more then ye go for the yak38 but its not guaranteed that you can always launch thoes 2 R-60s let alons them hitting all the time + after the 2 R-60s you can rtb right away where there is a high chance of an AV-8 or things like that already catching up

I'm currently spading the F-4C and I don't wish this pain on my worst enemy. My stats are PLUMMETING.

@Nicholas Cardenas it really needs to be 10.0 It sounds broken and that's cuz it is. Gaijibbles won't decompress BR so the F4C can be good at 10.3 and yet they made the F4F Early 10.3

@@piscessoedroen None of that does *anything* to prevent airfield camping in RB. The people that camp the airfield don't care about tickets, they care about not dying and abusing poorly implemented mehcanics.

EJ Kai is just kinda a glorified FGR2 with arguably better IR missiles. That's all, it has those avionics yes but you just keep the same playstyle of Phantoms. Not much interesting stuffs. A-5C, J35A and F-8E are much more interesting.

depends, 23M is lighter thus a little bit more agile while 27M has far better gun. For me I prefer 23M just due to cooler camos like "Tygr" or "Čert"
