I overhauled this watch, but it didn't run properly.
But you guys came through for me and encouraged me to persist.
It is now running properly.
Thank you so much.
I tore it down again, cleaned it and rebuilt it. It was over-oiled, but I think the thing stopping it from running properly was it had some fibres tangled up in the movement.
I'm feeling a lot more confident and I have really learned a lot on this movement.

Sometimes the only remedy left is to disassemble and begin again. Watch tinkering is a very humbling hobby and I contemplate quitting during each movement I work on! 😂 Keep at it!

The oil you are using on the jewels looks quite thick compared to what I see other people using. Maybe that’s part of the problem?

It's the correct oil.
