Both mostly british actors, both doctors, both hard to figure out, both curious and problem-solving, both unconventional, both keep companions around, both hated by most authority figures. If anything Doctor House would have an easier time of piloting the TARDIS because he's an actual doctor and the TARDIS is a living organism grown from a seed. He'd probably diagnose anything that's wrong with the TARDIS easier than doctor who ever does.

Technically it wasn't. The Good Doctor is a remake of a south Korean tv series which caught the attention of Daniel Dae Kim (Dr Han), who later bought the rights for the American remake. The network brought David Shore from House MD to develop it

Nah, he's aggressive from the start. This is something he starts, and from the beginning he shows a blatant disrespect for the system, his boss and himself. Autism makes it hard to adapt to social cues and differing situations on the fly. It does not make you unable to understand general social or organisational structure. Structured interactions are in fact relatively easy to many autists. Doctor Murphy would and should be well aware here that his approach is unacceptable. He may be confused that his boss doesn't straightforwardly argue that, as the social convention here isn't so explicitly coded.

@BLACKLIGHT Memes It would have to be. I don't think it could work otherwise. If they're keeping continuity then they'd have to do a little bit of nonsense to dig up a miracle cure for Wilson because I don't think the show could function without him either. I know they wouldn't do this but I think they should reboot from the point where House gets out of the mental institution. The show had some good episode after that but it did start going downhill and that would have been a good series finale. If they treat that as the series finale in the reboot, which they won't, they'd have a lot more to play with.

I will always agree with him being fired. Han was a normal person trapped in a drama show. Dr han said show me you can keep it together and in a year or 2 you'll be a surgeon again. You messed up and need to earn that spot back. He then threw a temper tantrum that han gave him multiple chances to end and keep his job. Proving Hans point. Han treated him equally instead of taking his autism into account cause at the end of the day. That patient on the table life is in your hands. He then got thrown under the bus for doing his job and refusing to rehire someone he can't trust for valid reasons. Spitting on all his years of experience and loyal service.

He does but there’s no way he’d entertain Murphy this way. House is not someone who takes absolute demands when he is in a position above. He knows if he caved in to tantrums they just get worse and make everything worse. Now, House did a lot of messed up things in the show but he usually had solid reasoning when it came to judging character and holding down boundaries. He would have just left the office, felt bad for Murphy but stuck to his decision for his own good. Caving in doesn’t mean you respect a person, it just means you don’t want to deal with them. House would have much more respect than that and if he legitimately didn’t feel the demands were backed, that’s it.
