Keep in mind that this whole one-man-production gig is KO’s *fifth* musical specialty. He started with saxophone and played on stage at Carnegie Hall as a teenager. Second is cello, at which he is obviously exceptional. He parleyed the cello into celloboxing, his hybrid beatboxing and cello performance (which is how the other PTX members found him), once he joined PTX, he started beatboxing full time and then they taught him how to sing - turns out he’s a great tenor! - and now, for music gig number five, he’s producing and performing music that would not be out of place in any internationally known club. Amazing. Ridiculous, but amazing. And he’s just thirty-one. I mean, good grief!

Kevin also participated in "celloboxing" competitions while he lived in Beijing for college, and his vocal beatboxing/cello mashup style even impressed Yo-Yo Ma! When he got back to the states he posted a youtube video of a celloboxing piece he arranged, and when it went viral Scott Hoying saw it and asked Kevin to be in the group literally THE DAY BEFORE the live audition on the Singoff! This is Kevin's famous video that led him to PTX
