Yes! My boys (3 of them) all do the fill a cup with ice, put a little bit of water, drink the water, leave the ice. Later they get a new cup and repeat the process all over again. We now have a refrigerator that has two ice makers. One in the door and another in the freezer.

Hi Jen! Everyone needs a Bentley in there life, so adorable. Love the yarn you spun, absolutely gorgeous. I have severe anxiety and stress so much. It's ironic that you used the being in a storm analogy, because I actually wrote a poem about that very same thing several years ago. I know sometimes it's hard to convince ourselves that like the storm, this too shall pass. Sad about your neighborhood, that would be the reason we chose to live out in the country ... the only ones creating any drama out here are the cows in the pasture out back LOL

So wonderful to see you happy! My mom always tells me life is a rollercoaster. You will have highs and lows. I always hated when she said it when I was in a low because I always felt the lowers were more then the highs. Now that I am older she was trying to remind me that it will get better ❤

I love spinning on my wheels. It's the most zen activity I know. I can start to spin and be in a bad mood, and by the time ten minutes have gone by, I'm calm and chilled out. Make sure you maintain the ability to spin thucker ysrn. Once you've learned how to spin super fine, it's easy to lose the thicker feel. I struggle to spin thucker yarns now. I always do 2-ply, and even that is thin. I'm so glad you were gifted a wheel. You're going to fly now. Can't wait to see what you got. Onward!

WAH=Words Are Hard It’s an acronym my (now) 25 year-old son who has Autism created. He uses it when his brain and mouth don’t connect and he can’t get out what he wants to say. He just goes “WAH” and takes a few seconds to let himself slow down and then it’s easier for him to connect the brain and mouth. Now the whole family uses it! Try it some time. I love all of your content: yarn porn, tutorials, spinning, hooks, vlog life, etc. I’m sure the spinning wheel will be just as interesting and entertaining!

I have had some serious blues recently but mostly because of family drama. So I totally get it. I am happy you are better. We moved to the country because of crazy people in our old Neighbor hood. We love it and the school was extremely better here although I did a lot of investigating of the areas we where looking into before we made a choice. I am so happy that we moved here everything is so much better here. Lol if my extended family could forget we are alive life would be perfect.

I love all your videos. True talk & very helpful. I am always telling my husband if you cannot physically fix it there is no need to stress over it you're going to end up giving yourself a heart attack & my husband is very very likely to give himself a heart attack cuz he stresses way too much. I also have to tell my son too, not to worry about what other people think of you cause you do not live with them & they do not control you. You have to remind yourself you are you & no one is like you so be the best fun person that you can be. We all make mistakes, & you learn from them to build a better you. If we all thought the same it would be a pretty boring world... I hope you have a great day & enjoy everything you do...🤩💓

I've been spinning for about a month and I've not touched any natural fibers lol. All I've used is the Rainbow Riot because you showed it in a video once and said it was good for beginners 😂. I definitely have not tried to self stripe, but it's coming along all thick thin, and very much beginner spinner looking 😅. During the Hobby Lobby clearance I picked up four other colors of it, including an off-white that maybe I can spin then dye?? I love that you've upgraded to a spinning wheel! That's awesome!!!

Thank you for reminding me to breathe, jen. Our family is going through something absolutely horrific and we have been betrayed by a friend of 35 years. Some days are better than others. Hi Jennifer, I hope all is well with you and yours. I absolutely loved this video. I had my family worried cause I kept giggling and laughing out loud listening to you with my head phones on. And you and your stories and your excitement about the spinning wheel. You are right those things are expensive. I priced two on Amazon and the smaller one was over 400 dollars. The larger one was over 800 dollars. I was thinking of you when I was looking but could not even think about spending that kind of money. Sorry! I am really glad someone gave you one. I thought that would be easier on you than the drop spindle.😊 A fan and a friend. Love your Puppers too.🫶🙏🖐

Longer length is better for spinning I read. Shorter length is good for needle felting.

I have been stressed for a while. Went to the doctor she gave me something to calm down. Felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown. We got 30 days to get out of this house and I had to find a place to live. The only thing we could find is a town home with Stairs, and we're not supposed to have stairs. I have bad back and knees. But we'll have to live there for a year. We had to sign a year's lease. Still, waiting for the guide to tell me. It's okay to move in and we have to be out of here by the end of the month, so I am stressing out big time. God bless you and thank you for sharing. I've done a lot of crying too. Things that are out of my control can't handle it anymore. Trying to get help to move, it's a joke.

A counter top ice machine is ok but if you get one make sure you get a extra warenty with it. They don't last long. The motor gives out or the laser stops working. I've bought 3 or 4 and all of them have been returned within 6-18 months after purchase. I think the Arcane Fiber Works video was just before the new year.

Your spun yarn is beautiful! And I understand what you mean about your crochet not being relaxing. I work a full time job, have a life, husband, home, fur baby……..and crochet is my relaxation. So many are now pushing me into doing craft fairs. With as great as that sounds it also sounds stressful. I don’t want to make things because I have to. I make things that I want. Some of which are gifts some for donations but mainly for me. I think it would no longer be enjoyable for me.

When you were talking about how Bentley keeps Mr. Cinnamon away from you I started laughing because I have a male Great Pyrenees that does that. If my husband gives me a hug he will get in between us like no she is mine. Did you get a spinning wheel 😊 we have a couple of pieces (not all ) that was my grandfathers. As a kid I always tried to imagine what it would look like all put together. Saw one at antique store and took a pic of it. ❤
