Hahaha. I absolutely love your interactions with Little Man on the video... "Get me the coffee beans in the coffee cup... In the Coffee cup... The beans... In the Coffee cup... " lol. I've given that exact look with a very similar conversation with my kiddos in the past. I think it's a universal conversation most parents have had with their kids at one point or another.

I loved this video! That yarn and fluff is gorgeous! Im happy you found what you were wanting. As for the pillow, try calling the hotel and explain what happened and ask if they found your pillow and hopefully kept it. If they do still have it, ask if they can ship/mail it to you at home. Tell them you will pay to have it shipped. Its worth asking and hopefully they will do it. Im praying they will.❤❤❤

I was just diagnosed IBSD, Coronary Artery Disease and COPD/Emphysema so I have to change my entire lifestyle. Low fat low sodium high protein diet. I don’t even know where to start. Thank you for being the wonderful person you are. You are a blessing in my days 💙

Your comment about not sleeping for 5 years when Lil’ Man was born really hit home with me. My #2 child, my first son, did the same thing. He didn’t sleep through the night for years. He would sleep like a log during the day, but we had an older daughter so I was up with her and then I was up with him at night. I really thought he was allergic to his crib! Looking back on it, he was super sensitive to many different stimuli. He couldn’t tolerate tags on his shirts or seams on the toes of his socks. All of that to say we are all marvelously unique and special. Love your stories.

Yes call and the hotel should send you your pillow!!! You may have to pay for the shipping, but its worth it to get it back!! I've been to the Smokey Mountain Spinnery, it's a fabulous, but it's not cheap to shop there!!!!! Lovely yarn and fluffy stuff!!!!

I was so happy to see your thumbnail showing the spinnery I love that place I found it 2 years ago they sell yarn made special for tourists as souvenirs it's made with smoky mountain colors they are beautiful they are great people I always feel so welcome so happy you went ❤️ I go to the smokies every year I met my husband 13 years ago this is our happy place the mountains we do one day shopping and stay traveling thru the mountains so beautiful we always go November or December the xmas decor is awesome

Men are goal oriented. After 45 years, and now that my hubby is undergoing treatment for prostate problems, he finally understands stopping frequently. When the boys were young, Hubby blamed them for the stops. Now the adjustment is for him! LOL! Guys are goal oriented, that’s the way they are made.

Hi Jennifer, Another good video. I love the blue fluff. I love rainbow and americana colors too. I know how you feel about traveling without stops. I feel the same way. I traveled a lot as a kid cause my father was in the Air Force. This meant you moved every two to three years. I would love to go to the Smokey mountains too. 😊

Those Trader Joe's Espresso Beans are my favorite! I have one within walking distance to me. I have to have self control! So good! Lucas is being such a trooper. Love the yarn and fibers you purchased. I will keep that place in mind for when we go to see our son in Chattanooga. Thank you for taking us along on that yarny journey!

Most of my childhood memories are traveling in a Mini Winnie motor home, seeing how many states we can hit in just a few days 😳😳😳 specific memory of waking up one morning with Mom yelling because she stepped out of the motor home to take the dog out and we were backed into a site on the side of the mountain in NH. Barely 12 inches of ground to walk on. She let the dog go to the bathroom and made Dad start it up and leave because it wasn’t safe. She was correct even with Dad laughing and saying “it’s fine. Just don’t look down”.

OMG! Girllllll!!!! I was just there two weeks ago! It was the highlight of my trip! I bought over a hundred dollars there! I bought several of the mini-skeins of the sparkly sock yarn that she had specially dyed for the shop. The brand was something Corgi. . . I'm sorry, I'm posting this at work (gasp! bad!) and I don't have the label here with me. Anyway, I too could have spent all day there if the rest of the family would have let me! We also ate breakfast at "Flapjacks" there in front of the store. It was the best breakfast in my opinion! Can't reccomend The Spinnery enough--glad to see an You-Tuber give the shop some love!

My husband started going to folk festivals/schools to learn blacksmithing and broom making. He learned he had an Uncle who was a broom maker! I wish the Uncle was still with us so they can visit. But yes, we have a new appreciation for hand making things. I am loving your trip reports! ❤

Wow just saw this video. I live in Johnson City TN which is only about 45 minutes away from the Smoky Mountain Spinnery. Very nice place. Course the area where I live has some awesome local yarn shops. YARNTIQUES in Johnson City and The Carriage House in Kingsport Tennessee they remind me of Smoky Mountain Spinnery., they have that cool kinda creepy lady made from wool sitting at the wooden spinning wheel lol

Jen, call the hotel, they may be willing to mail the pillow back to you (at your cost of course). I have had to do that in the past. While it may cost a bit, since the pillow has been discontinued it would save you the trial and error.

Love the video as always! I wanted to share with you - my sister in law has celiacs and has noticed that there are a lot of shampoos and soaps with gluten in them. She also struggled with eczema (it often goes hand in hand with celiacs from my understanding) and it cleared up quite a bit when she limited the soaps she used. Just thought I’d mention it 💜

Love the treasures you showed. Hi Jen, The fibre and the stellina you bought are gorgeous! So is that yarn but as a spinner, that fibre really speaks to me. I agree with a lot of the other commenters: call the hotel you forgot your triangle pillow at, and ask them one of two things. Could they hangon to your pillow until you’re on your way back or could they ship it to your PO box or home if you pay for the shipping? It.s bound to cost less than buying a new one.

In August we have the Great TN Yarn Tour will be happening and the Spinnery is on the list of the 18 places participating. You buy a ticket for $20 and you are entitled to certain discounts, specials, mini hanks, and give aways at each store you visit. I'm hoping to get to that one during the Tour. I believe 11 or 12 of the shops participating are in Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and surrounding areas. Only 6 or 7 are closer to me in middle TN. Not sure how many I will actually make it to, but I'm sure it will be fun. I know the one in Mt Juliet is at an alpaca farm and you will be able to see the process which will be fun. Hope you are able to find a new pillow and get comfortable. Safe travels

I'm planning a roadtrip later this year that will pass through this area, and I've made a list of local yarn shops that I might stop at on the way, and this one was on my list. But I've got mobility issues, and stairs are a real problem for me. This will help me narrow down my list of LYS locations to make side trips to.

I agree about wanting the local yarn when at a small yarn shop however at the Spinnery there is a dyer that died yarn from a photo of the mountains in each season. Oh my goodness did she nail it!!

You should definitely call that hotel and ask them if your pillow is in the lost and found. I left a shoe before and called where I thought I left it and it was still there. I just had to pay them to ship it. So hoping you can either get it back or find something else that compares. Safe travels❤

I left my Neck pillow at a hotel a few years ago. I called them and they found it and shipped it to me. I suggest giving them a call. I cant get comfortable without mine either. Also they don't make the one like mine either.

I live in the state of Tennessee & I heard you say Gatlinburg so I believe that you are in the Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Dollywood area possibly even close to Knoxville. You are definitely in Tennessee.

Oh my goodness. Loved the spinnery and want to go the next time I am up in that area. We usually go up once a year. I’ve left items at a hotel and they actually sent it to me at my house. Maybe you can check and see and if you explain you really need it they may comply.

Lucas is so well behaved. How many children can sit in a hotel room with no tv while Mom films. He is amazing. Love the bright yarn. If you were in Tennessee a few days ago are you in Arkansas or Oklahoma. I thought you said you were headed to California. I could be mistaken. Have fun. My daughter brings us some products from Trader Joe’s. She is currently in school at Tulane in New Orleans. We don’t have a Trader Joe’s near us in Lafayette Louisiana. She did buy those coffee beans once. They were so good. Love the words of wisdom at the end of the video. I agree about the cakes falling apart. I am always respinning my yarn cakes. Can I have 2 guesses on where you are? First is Chattanooga Tn and the 2nd is Knoxville Tn. I love everything about the shops in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My favorite place.
