I am swapping to Wright Mulching Blades on the 36i stander

In this video I show the new Wright mulching blades that I am installing in place of the factory standard blades. I show close ups of the factory blades and how much wear has occured in 23 hours of use.

I’ve been really pleased running ferris 36” mulching blades with the wright mulching kit. Live in Acworth, Ga and cut Bermuda lawns.

We cut St Agustin grass I have a plate cover on mine and I use gator blades G3 and they work really well

I have the same mower with oregon gator mulching blades, and if you are having clumping left behind on the grass with the plate closed to mulch, it's because you don't have the Wright aero core Mulch kit installed under the deck.part number 95480005WRI. After I installed it, I get fantastic mulching. But I can't witch to side discharge that fast since it covers the side discharge

I was going to buy a 36 Wright but looks like I'm getting a Walker T25i with a 36" deck. In my area the one mower you see on almost every landscaping trailer is a Walker mower and then you will see a walk behind or a stand on. Still love watching your video nice video still even with the little oops.

It seems like the company is only selling them through dealers. Too bad since they could have tons of sales selling to us directly. I am going to try the Oregon G6 Mulching blades next.

Hi let me ask you I have the same mower and I have a plate blocker to mulch but I have noticed now that when I go over leafs to mulch them it chutes them right out of the deck I'm using g3 gator blades I've been told I might have to get a mulching kit or get wavy mulching blades do you have this issue and what has worked for you thanks for your great videos.

Victor Rippe if you will approach them from the left side they will get sucked under the mower. The center and right side they will mostly get blown out. It’s just the way the air flow is spinning in order for the processed material to be discharged out the right side.

Honestly I cant tell a difference. I am going to try the Oregon G6 Mulching blades next.

do you ever worry about over torquing the bolt causing it to split/break ? looking to purchase a similar dewalt unit and just wanted your input, thanks !

also is that unit a 1/2 or 3/8 ?

No I am not on the bolt but just a few seconds and those bolts are huge.
