I don't think this is the end of concept artists. Good concept artist will make use of the AI to to improve their craft. I find the contrast between programmers and artists funny. Whenever I talk to programmers and there is some AI that's supposed to write code their first reaction is always to ask how they can use it to improve their craft. And artists always complain that it would take their job away. Why not be excited about that? Who not make use of it? Create mood boards, gain inspiration or to try out directions that you wouldn't have attempted before due to time restrictions.

Scary good. I don't see concept artists being displaced though. AI can only search through what has been created and if it were only to create based upon its own concepts they would become less appealing to humans. It still needs human input.

... but I guess a human concept artist would know how to connect the components... but if they are short on ideas, AI could save the day. AI will improve though. However, since two humans can not agree on what the perfect bike is, I guess AI can never solve that one regardless of how good it gets. 🤔 Great video! Would have liked to see the results in more detail though 🙂
