As someone who works at a subway, meatballs are so overrated, I loved them before working there but I never eat them anymore, spicy Italian is my favourite but I found myself enjoying turkey and ham as a nice simple, healthier option

Tesco’s fruit aisle! I have kind of done this myself. I grew up on a remote Scottish island in the 1970s, the only fruit we had were apples, oranges and bananas, and they only arrived fresh once a month. In the late 80’s I moved to Edinburgh for uni and started expanding my palate. Fast forward to 2007, and I had moved jobs to one where my daily commute was cut in half by taking a shortcut through Tesco’s car park, and I got into the habit of picking up a snack. Closest snacks to the door - fruit. I tried all sorts of fruit I’d never had before - star fruit, dragon fruit, guava, kiwee (I’m tragically allergic to kiwi fruit, and mistook these for gooseberries, because I’m an idiot who didn’t read the label), physalis, greengages, and a ton more. I’d be so happy if you did this.

I agree, as a former meat-eater I remember ordering (and absolutely devouring) the meatball sub on Italian herb and cheese bread, toasted with Old-English cheese topped with lettuce and tomato. Now that I don't eat meat, no sub from subway appeals to me.

Sweet onion chicken teriyaki is one of my favorites, also the meatball marinara on the Italian-herb and cheese bread. Actually both of those on the Italian herb &cheese bread is fantastic.

That is hilarious because my order is literally meatball marinara on herb and cheese with sweet onion sauce, jalapenos, red onion and black olives so I guess I have been barking up the right tree!

We don’t have all those vegan plant based “meats”and vegan cheese and sauces as options where I am😔.... the only vegan options are all the veggies available which is ok but not even close to as delicious as what you have.

My go to order is meatball on Italian herb and cheese. It is the best combo! With mozarella/cheddar blend cheese. Epic.

BMT stands for Brooklyn Manhattan Transit, due to the shop being called Subway. When they wanted a sandwich named after a subway service they jumped on that. I use to be a manager of a Subway so yeah something we all knew.

I used to work at Subway and I can confirm that BMT is supposed to stand for Bigger Meatier Tastier. Also, we were told that the southwest sauce is just ranch with a bit of Frank's Red Hot mixed in.

I'm gonna vouvh for the veggie delight for a minute, DONT get it how it comes, load your fave veggies on and then get Sweet onion and Chipotle sauce, layer some of your chips inside, and its AMAZING

Everyone knew about the Italian Herbs and Cheese and it is the only correct option. A while ago they also did Garlic Cheese bread where they would add garlic butter and cheese to any bread for any sandwich and meatball marinara on that was OFF THE SCALE

In Canada we used to have Honey Oat bread. It was amazing and then they got rid of it. My go to is turkey with bacon spinach cukes pickles lil bit of red onion lil but of sweet onion sauce and lots of black pepper on Italian herb and cheese.
