This suggests that you probably did have an inflammatory problem that negatively effected your eyesight. However, inflammation is an immune response. This means you have probably severely compromised your immune system which in turn may present itself as having some favorable outcomes. This does not mean however that what you are doing is remotely healthy. Please, you have to be more scientific about your understanding of the human body. People don't go to medical school for years for no reason.

I have had the same hair loss (scalp, eyebrows and lashes too!) since the birth of my son (now 22 years old) and I know from many doctor visits that it’s both low thyroid and low iron related, but of course all blood tests come back within “normal” ranges. COnsider he took b1 (thiamine) as a 'snack.' B1 really helps with process extra branched chain aminos and it also really helps with efficiency of mitochondria which gives that brain boost. Also would suggest glycine for the same reason. Part of why is eating a lot of muscle meat only is not something we historically did and it's low on a few nutrients. Also currently meat is usually irradiated which kills a lot of the b1 which is weak to radiation. And you NEED b1 really bad for decent functioning.

TY TY EVERYONE for telling your stories ! I am not obese nor did I have the problem with obesity because I had adrenal problems my whole life. I had severe clinical depression and suicidal ideation, severe fatigue, brain fog, anxiety...it was all crippling. I couldn't function without multiple naps a day, and severe mood swings that made me hate myself. The doctors and specialists that I went to all had nothing for me except a hysterectomy. That surgery only made a new set of problems that were far worse than the ones I had before. My life was wasted, for 20 yrs on doctors visits that got me no where except into more hot water. I found a functional medicine doctor who did things much differently than the mainstream, but still pushed vegetables on me and supplements/herbs in high doses that didn't make me feel well, and so I just grew worse. So now, for a month, thanks to all of you, I've been transitioning to carnivore from ketovore. And just 2 weeks in I could eat dairy without a massive stomach ache. I had given up dairy years ago when I started juicing carrots, kale and spinach, and my life really went downhill, because I didn't realize that I was poisoning myself LITERALLY with oxalates !! Now I am gorging on high fat dairy, making up for all the lost calcium from those years of believing lies. I love beef, I eat a lot of hamburger, steaks....anything beef I can get my hands on, as well as liver occasionally. I'm learning to listen to my gut. I've lost swelling in my hands, face, abdomen and vocal chords. My digestion issues and bloating has much improved. My brain fog is improving, my mood is improving, my depression is easing. I really am hoping that my thyroid can come back online and function through this diet. Here's to a hopeful future of energy and good health!! Bless you all!!

The difference listening to people who've healed using carnivore versus those who've healed from eating plant based is night and day. I don't doubt people have healed eating plants, anyone who goes from the SAD to whole foods, even plants, will get healthier. Inflammation is the bodies natural immune defense response to negative stimuli. When you get hit hard, the area swells and bruises. If you have an infection, the area swells. This is the body increasing blood flow to the area, sending white blood cells and other resources to the area to try and heal the problem. If you have a health condition related to inflammation and this stops from a change in your diet, this does NOT mean you are healthier. Instead, this means that your immune system has been so severely compromised it has stopped reacting to negative stimuli. This may be good in the short term, yes you can alleviate problems related to inflammation such as this man and his blindness, in the long term however, if you continue this diet, you will have a whole array of negative health effects that come from a compromised immune system. This is only ONE of the issues related to carnivore of MANY. Any restrictive diet, be it carnivore or veganism will lead to health problems in the long term. Some of these can end up being irreversible, depending on how long the diet is maintained.

At 6’ I weigh 245lbs. In 2020 I tried carnivore for a little over a month and I lost over 40lbs. I didn’t even realize I had been eating carnivore for a solid month and got on the scale and I was amazed that I lost 40lbs. I got out of the groove and I’m back to 245. I drive an 18 wheeler all over the USA and I just started back 🤞hopefully I will lose 80 lbs and my goal weight is to get back to 175 to 180.

You're telling my story. I'm trying to do carnivore as best I can. I'm homeless and all I can seem to get ahold of is chicken. So hopefully I get more eggs and bacon and every now and then get some steak. One thing I've found I really don't like is chewing on butter but most of the time, it's the softer butter.Oh well I'll find out what's going on in a month

You'll get there! I was 260, and I'm below 210 now. I figure I'll keep dropping. Never thought I'd get down to this weight. It's still not enough but I didn't even think it would happen either.

@@jackforeman3687 I know being homeless can make cooking and refrigerating difficult, so I just wanted to suggest one way I coped with that and hope it's helpful to you. I found using the deli section of the grocery store helpful because I could order specifically what I was able to eat without having leftovers to go bad. I could specify how thick I wanted slices of meat, how many slices I wanted, and vary the types of meat, though roast beef was a favorite. It also kept the daily cost down because I wasn't wasting it on food that went bad or that I didn't have ability to carry the leftover. It was already cooked, but cold, so was eligible for food stamps, though I didn't always have that available. I found that I could use certain convenience store microwaves to cook my food if I really wanted it heated, though I was trying not to overuse their kindness, and I was happy enough with it cold. Convenience stores would also allow me to get the boiling hot water for my thermos/travel coffee mug from the coffee machine spigot. Hope that helps✌️ Stay safe & God bless you on your journey🖖 *edited for minor spelling errors

I think that the keto diet is a good place to start for beginners, because it isn't as restrictive as carnivore. I started on keto and I was getting some good weight loss results, but transitioning in to carnivore is the best thing I've ever done. I'm a type 1 Diabetic and my need for meal time insulin has dramatically decreased!

Your eyebrows losing the outer part is from hypothyroidism so you’re also correcting a thyroid problem. This is such a good video. Made me cry… I so LOVE what this way of eating brings. I resonate with some of what he’s talking about as prior to carnivore I wasn’t sure how I was ever going to regain my health. Now at 60 years old I’m absolutely on my way and have had so much improvement! You guys are doing great work. The sharing and education of others is important because it’s our stories that allow others to see the truth about meat and fat. ❤

I've half eyebrows and a scary loss of headhair too. my mom had the same, but when she was in hospital and got little bottles of supply her hair was suddenly growing and she got full hair again. sadly she wasn't aware of it because she was already too weak. she never ate meat or chicken and hated eggs, but wasn't vegan! I learned a lot from that/her...................... ❣

I lost 22lbs within a year doing a paleo/keto-ish diet and have kept it off for the last 4 years, BUT it only took a short hiatus off the wagon to get me craving carbs like crazy and I’ve been having trouble getting back into it. I can say there would be times I only ate meat and noticed it curbed my cravings and my arthritis and joint pain would diminish. I’m also diabetic and even with the weight loss, I was still having a hard time managing my blood sugars. My diabetes has gotten to the point that my meds are not working anymore and I’m not ready to move onto insulin. Okay, I’m biting the bullet and will be priming for the duration of this month and see how that works.

6 lbs in 3-4 days indicate fluid loss, which is usually beneficial. So don’t know why there would be concern. Priming helps to reset appetite and hunger cues, so typically solves undereating.

There are definitely so many people that do very well on Carnivore, veganism, keto, etc., it’s so important to keep trying until you find the way of eating that best fits your body composition and cognition capacities. I was keto for 8 years, but actually ended up switching to whole, unprocessed foods and lost 20 pounds quickly and lost menopause issues immediately. I think the most important thing is to eat real food, exercise in some way everyday, and find ways to be thankful for what you have.

I too have stopped craving everything but coffee… I’m sleeping 12 hours… I have always been a 0-4 hour sleeper… I have only gain 23 lbs sence I’ve desided to eat everytime im hungry… going on 2 mouths… I’m not sure how I’m doing… I’m just going to keep going… bought hamburger and new york strips.. because sometimes I’m craving more meat… sometimes I can’t eat all the fat in my rib eye… so I save it for later… Thank u thank u all for ever…
