Are you having any allergies at the moment or getting a cold or flu. I have heard you should only eat Pasture Raised Grass Fed beef. Because all of the antibiotics, medicines, growth hormones, chemicals GMO's from feed (soy, corn wheat) etc pumped into the poor cattle.... can make us sick. I want to join starting Monday. alil late 🤦 im looking for a farmer that sales only Pasture Raised Grass Fed beef by the slab. I hate to eat animal 😭 but it's for health reasons see if it improves my health

I’ve been doing carnivore for a little over a month, and doing one meal a day for about a week. I’m 65 yo and I have to be very careful about what I do as far as my back is concerned. Today, for the first time in years, I did some gardening this morning and I realized that when I came in that my back was not trying to spasm! Is it the diet? I don’t know, but it’s really the only change I’ve made. I hope you find some relief. A bad back is no fun! I will definitely be paying more attention to how mine feels as time goes by.

@@angelagrant2943 I ‘m 67 years old and in the last three years found myself almost constantly in bed from pain and inflammation not to mention brain fog, depression, and lots of little things like congestion, and itchy ness. I saw on you tube that people were saying they eliminated everything but fat and meat and had good results reducing these symptoms. So I thought I ll use it as an elimination diet just to see if it could help me. Within days I noticed more focus less pain and better sleep. I’m still at the early stages and have found eating meat eggs and butter have worked for me.

@@houndsontherun ground beef is usually just scrap meat, left over trimmings push through a grinder while steaks are a specific cut; better to grind your own beef than buy it at a store. making your own ground beef is the only way to go cause then you have full control over whats in your end product!

I'll try it after my carniversary! (21st June) - After more than 30 years vegetarian, never issues with weitgh, I came into carnivore looking for some antinflamatory results (sport injuries, leaky gut) and for the optimization of my general health. I found many health benefits though I gained 13lbs during the first 6 carnivore months. I know it is mostly muscles but I don't feel comfortable with this weight, so I'm going to try this to see if it helps me to lose those 13lbs. I was a master managing my weitgh on a vegetarian diet, but I don't consider it healthy any more, so I won't come back to that, but I'm looking forward to be on carnivore the same weitgh I used to have on vegetarian WOE. Thanks for your videos, Bella! Greetings from Argentina!

Congratulations on reaching your goal. I really appreciate the updates on how you feel and think as you went through the beginning stages to the end. I am impressed that you are able to adjust the process as you learned how your body reacted, like eliminating ground beef. I wonder if you ground your own meat if your body would still react differently because you don't know what grade of meat the store uses to make their ground beef. I am curious if you ever get cravings for any other foods and if so, how you deal with it.

@jivefx
@jivefx 3 жыл бұрын
@@angelagrant2943 sorry late reply to your question. Yes I was referring to “one meal a day.” One of the biggest goals in one meal a day schedule is reducing the total number of insulin responses in a day. This is true with most intermittent fasting. Reducing the body’s releases of insulin is one of the most beneficial goals. Insulin is almost like a master hormone that strongly affects multiple other hormones. My intention in fasting, personally, is ultimately to stop hyperinsulinemia caused by insulin resistance. To combine that with the carnivore diet which doesn’t cause high insulin responses is a great combination for me. Best regards

So impressed with your results! I have got to try this! Still trying to figure out what caused the difference between ground beef and ribeye. Someone commented that perhaps the huge difference could be due to the ground beef being cooked and you eat your steaks rare. I have read that raw meat is digested much more completely than cooked meat. If this is true, than maybe the extra nutrients make the difference. Also, perhaps it is replacing the butter with animal fat on the steaks. I am VERY interested in finding out as after calculating the cost of 2 lbs of ribeye a day x 30 days @ $12/lb=$720!!! If eating raw ground beef ( @cost $162/month (@ $2.70/lb) gave same effects for a savings of $558!!! Plus the raw ground beef would contain the fat as well.

Thank you for doing this video. When I first went on carnivore I was having sour cream and guacamole over shredded chuck roast. Cheese and cream in my scrambled eggs, etc. And although I was losing weight, it was slow and not only did I feel good I wasn't getting that euphoria and relief from depression does the people on the Lions diet were experiencing. So I think I'm going to cut out dairy and eggs and try this 30 days on only beef. So thank you so much for posting how you make flanken ribs, beef short ribs and other fatty beef so that they are "tender". ❤ (Note: Dogs are pack animals, like humans. They belong together and need each other. You don't have an outdoor guard dog, then a princess indoor dog. Both belong to the family, then sleep inside together. The golden retriever is also an excellent guard dog even though it spends most of its time in the house. Just like children, both should be treated like loyal family members, equally loved and trained for protection.)

Seriously ketovore fixed my period. I had pcos for my entire life until I changed my diet 6 year ago. I wish I knew of this diet when I tried to get pregnant. My period was so terrible that I was infertile. I still include some veggies but mostly beef I would say about 95% is beef. Love eating beef.

Just finished my first week of all beef. Have been carnivore for almost 3 years. Been doing one meal a day with a small steak and hamburger. Dont know if I can afford only steak though. Darn. I wwork out everyday. Have done that for years.... it's my favorite thing to do, lol. Anyway ,this week I have noticed better digestion. I am excited to see what happens. I'm looking forward to watching your progress because I'm going to do this only beef for awhile. I'm thinking at least through the summer. Thanks for your openness and enthusiasm. ❤❤❤

You know another thing I really love is minimal waste. I never waste food and beef uses minimal packaging. Shopping, cooking and clean up are a breeze. Isn't it the best. I love that. Congrats to you beef sista. Teehee. Way to go❤

I'm definitely going to try beef only after I get through the (literal) 5 lbs of chicken quarters in my freezer. 😂😂 My period has definitely changed since going carni in Jan. I'm starting to spot like a week before my actual period comes, which is kind of annoying but really not a big deal. My hormones were INCREDIBLY messed up from YEARS of medication so I'm assuming everything is just leveling out at this point. I'm still waiting for weight loss to happen but I've been able to stop all meds and live a normal life. Weight loss can't compare to that!

Anyway, thanks for the great videos. I just love REAL people and you and Kelly are the REALEST!!

@@nightlady2001 thanks so much for that great info! I've probably heard that somewhere along the road on my journey! I've been doing carnivore for about 4 years. But all the information I've downloaded over the years doesn't seem to stick to my hard drive as well as it did in my youth! 😩 All of the benefits I've experienced doing carnivore have been impressive if not incredible! But one thing that has not improved is my memory, ugh! What you say makes a lot of sense. And yes, a whole month of ribeyes would be cost prohibitive, although, I'm sure all the steaks don't have to be ribeyes. But they sure are the best, aren't they? Just be careful if you decide to go the ground beef method. That seems like a reasonable option as long as you grind your own beef! I have no problem snacking on a few bites of ground beef here and there when it's purchased from a grocery store. But I don't know that I would make a whole meal out of it. Sorry for the long reply. Have a great day!

What if you didn't think of it as an increase in your food bill, what if you looked at it as the price of becoming limitless? For that, it's a really great deal. Plus, you get free steaks! Worth a month trial perhaps to see what it might do for you. I also feel like with all the positives for mental and emotional aspects there are surely even more physical benefits too.

You might try tri-tip. It is generally under $7/lb for choice and sometimes prime is on sale for that. It is not overly tender if you grill as a steak, but if you sous vide it for 6 hrs at 131F it cuts like butter. A $99 Anova sous vide immersion cooker was the best money I ever spent on an appliance. It is very forgiving on time, so if it goes 10 hrs instead of 6 it still won't overcook the meat. Still rare-medium-rare. Then a minute under the broiler on each side whenever you are ready to eat.
